Anyone else tired of waiting for mephisto to open their US store again?

Have you grown any of those freebies? I'm thinking about running two (CDLC x3BOG) x Sour Stomper seeds I have next, alongside two Fantasmo Express
No, but i bought last years set. They are called Illuminautos. Usually 10(who knows rhis year) and all theybare is unique crosses just like the freebies. When theybgrow the regular catalog strains they cross some stuff to see what happens and the real good looking ones they sell as the Illuminautos and the ones that don't make the cut are the freebies. All will be F1, no testing but slightly cheaper. Illuminautos are the only packs the don't send to banks as they only make them 1 time. If people REALLY are into a few of them that's what they re make for limitid strains. For ex Double Grape. Was an Illuminauto and people went crazy so now it's at F3 after making a few comebacks and itll3 always be a mainstay. Not worth it over regular strains as anyone can make these crosses themselves. Gotta fight just to get them. It's all about do you have the spare cash and can get in time to grab them. If not you don't lose much cause you have no clue what they would bring as F1s anyways. Some are good crosses and some i don't think are. No details have been released on them yet, but i see Orang-atange testers which is 4 Assed Monkey(GG4) x Orange Diesel which is one. I'd but that, but if you have those 2 strains you can cross them 1 time and get exactly what Mephisto is selling.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing. I'll probably replace the F1 freebies and run White Crack instead. I'll save those for rainy days

They've had the same freebies mostly 3bog crosses this year and going back to last year, but clearly that's cause they aren't open much. You can find tons of journals on the freebies before growing them being limited at Mephisto on Reddit. Decide if you ever want to make more of it before growing them all. Myself, i never have grow any of the freebies. I like growing the original strains before all the crosses from those strains. Out of the originals lineup i believe I'm only missing Toof Decay and AvT(but i have Ripley's OG so it's pretty redundant to me).

You're mixing up microbrewery revolution and hoppy beer revolution. The new hoppy beer craze definitely brought more mainstream attention to micro beers. Heady has only been canned for less than ten years. I like heady it's not a go to but it's good. Sip is much better I think. Have you ever had the double sip? Or Sixpoint Resin?I'm not as much into beer as I used to be.
I think our points just missed each other, I get where your coming from now. I was just using Heady as an example of a product that hit the market when demand for it exceeded production, but that became more accessible as competition increased. These days you can get Heady anywhere in VT no problem. I also agree that Sip is better. Heck, even of the Alchemist options I prefer Focal Banger. Funny enough we used to go to the Alchemist before Irene wiped it out for chicken wings and Holy Cow IPA. Never really understood the Heady craze. I think part of it is the can says 8% but it got you drunk like a beer with a double digit ABV haha.

And ya, I've had both of those. Great beers! I'm also not as into beer as I used to be. I both can't handle the high ABVs like I used too and can get phenomenal beers at my local grocery store so it's hard to motivate to try new things or stand in line for something that's probably only marginally better.

I did see your point back there. But my example I originally wanted to use wasn't in the same category of brew. Who was it? I think Anchor Christmas ale would have been a similar situation. Only available once a year.

Heady, I've had a really good mustard made with Heady. Don't want to mess up this thread though. :)

Why do they send the stickers? I kept them but not sure why.
Stickers are great marketing for them, and people usually think they are fun.

I throw a couple on my tool box. I’ve seen people put them in their tents but I’m not sure about that myself.
