Anyone had any problems with mars hydro??

Basically as the title suggest i bought a ts600 in feb this is the first plant ive grown with it so been on just over 11 weeks now of 18/6 and woke up this morning to find this bot happy at all

Thanks man like i say meant to be a 3 year life span only done 11 weeks and its gone already!

I have 6 lights from them bought over several years and have had no issue what so ever.

Build quality its brilliant i cant fault up til this morning clearly must have got a dodgy one hopefully they will sort it

So had a bit of back and forth with mars hydro theyve told me the problem is something to do with power supply they are saying they can send me another ts600 out which is good of them but then told me its a common problem with the ts600 that there trying to fix (so basically selling a dodgy light) they suggested i pay the difference and get a ts1000 so i asked how much baring in mind i payed £75 for the ts600 they are saying that the ts1000 is £147.99 (even though on there actual website its £118 ) supposedly different prices when it comes to ebay thats where i bought it from so i have to pay the ebay price so want an extra 72 to send me the ts1000 or they will send me a ts600 that there is a good possibilty it could break again i asked them nicely seen as its a common fault with there light if they would nicely waiver the difference as its broke on the first grow right at the end of flower the most important bulking time but basically got fobbed off so ive had to take the ts 600 thats is no doubt going to break again or pay the 72 and get the ts1000 whats not filling me with much hope of being a better light if the ts600 is anything to go buy so il keep it as a spare going to order a HLG

I have 2 of the ts600 running and I’ve moved them to completely other towns and I have no problems with mine.

we checked with engineer ,it may caused by Power short circuit,we can ship a new light to you,but it may still happen this issue, because the TS600 have a high requirment of voltage,or you can consider to to pay the price difference for TS1000,the quality will better than TS600,what do you think of it?

Thats what they sent me so must know its some kind of fault maybe just select ones

if so ,you can take the TS600 again,we can't make sure the problems will not happen, Short circuit caused by unstable voltage, we are trying to fix this problem,but if your light have any problems,you can contact us ,we will always be here.

Just poor quality control.
Chances are another one wont have the same fault.

I think they are trying to upsell you something to make up for the loss they will suffer.

What happens to the old light? Are you expected to return it?

Theyve not mentioned it to tell you the truth

Just wondering , they may let you keep it as its not worth them paying for return shipping, in which case get your replacement and then send the broken one back to the ebay seller for a refund.

I think there all connected its not actually a seperate ebay seller its like a mars sponsored seller or something along them lines im not to fussed really to give it to them they are replacing it so cant complain just worried its a common fault they know about ive just ordered the HLG and il just keep that as a spare or maybe 2 plants if i can persuade the other half lol

HLG135?

They are feeding you a load of buullshit. There's no way that would be caused by a power supply issue. That is an issue with the traces and/or diode soldering.

No mate the HLG 100 v2 as literally i have a 50x50 tent at the minute for 1 plant

You reckon mate??? Thats what there technician has said lol ohh well if they send me a new one so be it hopefully be better made one
