Anyone here use parafilm?

I used to use that green plastic wrapped wire for tying my plants down. I noticed it was partially girdling some of my branches and I’m not okay with that. Without too much unnecessary backstory I used to grow mushrooms and would seal my petri dishes with parafilm. It allows for gas exchange, is soft and stretchy, and has a decent tensile strength so I tried tying a branch down with it today. Doesn’t look pretty but it worked and I like it way better than wire. Just wanted to put that out there. 2D15B5D7-6513-4377-BBB2-A1DAB81B0818.jpegD2DAECE6-983D-4F29-BCE3-5B3FCCEA6B48.jpeg

Looks good. I use the plant ties that are tubular. If you get the bread tie ones I could see problems. Cheers.

Yeah the bread tie type stuff sucks. It was just that cheap green shit from amazon. Parafilm is some good stuff. I can’t believe it never occurred to me to use it before today.
