Hey Everyone!
Just looking to see if someone in southern Ontario has a good source for dry amendments for TLO soil? I have found tons of small containers of all the stuff I need but I’m more looking for a farm or somewhere I can buy more bulk bags and not spend $20 for 4 cups of blood meal rather a bulk bag for cheaper. Any tips on locations or places to order from would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m trying to source and buy local to support my neighbours!

some things I’m looking for are
Blood meal
Bone meal
Feather meal
Oyster shell flour
Dolomite lime
Kelp meal
Alfalfa meal
Azomite
Gypsum powdered
Powdered soft rock phosphate
I can find all these but in small expensive containers, any bulk locations you all know about

Wow it's a wide world in 2021. Your loyalty's to the smaller vendor is really sweet, if you like it in your....,? But still very comendable ? Maybe some smaller bags from the smaller co. But 9/10 of your list has weight buy it. Amazon's building another meca in Toronto !!

Are you close to any farm Co ops?
Farm feed stores or what not?
Pretty sure they sell some of the things on your list.
I've personally bought crushed oyster shell from tsc

I am around tons of farms, never thought of the coop place I’m sure they can recommend somewhere if they don’t have it themselves.

I also have tons of farms around me
I haven't been to the coop to see what they have, I really should go.
Let us know if you find what your looking for

Ok will do! I found 2 sites that are really close to what I’m looking for but not 100% where I want to buy from still local though
Black swallow has a lot of stuff and bulk items, and It’s all in one place, I would rather get it from a farm and pay less still but a good start!
This site isn’t as nice to use but they still have some great products

Your local hydro stores don't sell the big bags of gaia green?
Mine sell the 444 and a few others, but not all of them they keep in stock all the time but I'm sure you could order all the big bags you want thru them and they will call you when they come in.
I assume he's looking for cheaper alternatives

Nah, they are mostly bottled nutrients around me, only small containers of Gaia green they sell
That sucks...I'm guessing ordering the big bags online the shipping is just too much.
I think some hydro stores have free shipping on orders over $100. So if you bought a big bag of the all purpose and one of the power bloom that would be enough for free shipping
