They are not aphids.

they appear to be mould mites aka Tyrophagus putrescentiae
Do you think they could be broad mites??? It does look a lot like a mould mite too! But I read female broad mites sometimes carry the male mite. And noticed that pattern in the scope on a video!

Very similar visually to be honest.

9 times out of 10 though they’ve been mould mites. You could be unfortunate and be that 1.

I appreciate you so much for sending this!! I think you’re right. Def mould mites. But is it common to have a mould mite infestation on cannabis? Can’t find much on that.
I’ve had them before.

not sure how they got there.

only saw them for one grow and then when everything was cleaned down again and allowed to dry out properly they never returned.

Mould mites are often found as a source of food for some predatory insects although not known to be plant eaters.
