anything i should be doing differently

Hey guys just found this site and love it. Cant stand waiting around for things to happen so got to the internet to give myself ideas (most stupid). I know I should probably do nothing and let mother nature take her course just hard to sit around and wait.
A little back ground not my first grow have successfully grown this plant before both times pulling over a pound of pretty decent bud. Started two this year and almost threw this one away put most of my effort into a male urgh!!! But boy did it look nice was going to be a bush bordering on tree lol. Got my head around topping and lst and think it worked out well. I am growing in the ground (dug 2x2x2 hole and filled with happy frog) transplanted her outside in the beginning of June and she stalled a little and didn't enjoy the nutes (fox farm trio). Left her alone for a bit and she bounced back, didn't give her anything else to eat and she did just fine probably could have grown a little more in veg with nutes but oh well. Its my wife's vegetable garden and she begrudgingly gave up some real estate. That being said the plot is worked yearly with new compost and plenty of tasty perch carcass's (I fish a lot and love eating perch and plant those babies all fall and late winter). When they started to preflower I noticed my mistake threw out the male and put all efforts into my girl. I pinned her down and let her stretch cut off a little of the undergrowth before flowering started but think I should have taken a bit more off (last two times didn't bother with this step at all but first time got a bit of bud rot and lot of larfy bud). As well this year started to use proper nutes and not mg lol and jumped into pk boosters (fox farm dry trio) I follow their feeding schedule and so far no burning or deficiencies and I am collecting rainwater to water with. I guess I just wanted to share a bit and find out what you guys thought I might do differently to ensure that I get the best finished product that can be achieved. Should I clear out some of the smaller stuff to clean things up a bit? and was thinking about defoliating but decided against it really really concerned about a wet fall and want to let her go as long as possible. By the way growing in southern Ontario. Pics to come once I figure out how to post them any and all help appreciated especially with the grow lol

Good day to everyone and happy farming

Hey guys how's everybody doing. Was wondering if anybody has any advice on watering outdoor in the ground? My problem is it hasn't rained all summer and now mother nature seems to want to catch up. As stated in previous post I am growing in the ground and I have the ff dry trio that I invested (foolishly) a lot of money in lol. So that being said I want to use them, but the problem is it is raining every other day. So far I have used the Open Sesame for the first two weeks of flower and been lucky so far no signs of over watering. I am feeding it twice a week with 4 gallons of mixed nutrients and trying to pick a day were it hasn't rained for a few days. Now it is time to use the Beastie Bloomz and in my opinion the most important because it is supposed to be the one to really pack on the weight. It only runs for week 3 & 4 so time is limited to get it in the ground. Any ideas on how to effectively use it? Can I just wait for a day between rains and hope I don't over water? And will the rain dilute it and make it less effective? Any help is greatly appreciated thanks

If you have preeminently saturated ground your nutrient will kill the plant. I suggest putting clear tarp or similar over the general area of the plant. Then break up the soil around the plant to help it dry. You could also put a tamp do down around the plant at an angle (off the ground) to shed the water away. You don't want to risk drowning the roots or buring them..

Thanks man have been thinking about making a small hoop greenhouse out of some 3/4" pvc and covering with clear plastic (probably some painter drop sheet or something. was planning on doing it later as the buds get bigger but maybe I'll try it now. Any thoughts on the beastie bloomz?

Make sure you use some fans if you put up plastic around them. I have not used beastie blooms..

Thanks for the help will certainly keep that in mind. How about maybe putting some plastic on the ground around the stalk to prevent over saturation but only on rain days? Any thoughts?

Yeah i mentioned that above. Make sure you till up the soil around the plant before hand and keep the plastic off the ground. You can use a fan there as well.

If the rain can hold off for a couple more weeks I think I can call this one a success. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best75C7B63B-AD29-4860-AC43-A93AC9EDA991.jpeg D9FA43EB-662A-4A04-AC25-F5F63C9FDCFE.jpeg4F150D80-BD43-499E-864E-FF8F51EEF611.jpeg B98405C1-6DFC-4B3F-89C6-224CF870D515.jpeg
