Are these flea beetles? Or something else..

I have done about 5 or 6 grows that I always used some kind of IPM. Then recently I wanted to try an earthbox. Although with the way its set up with fresh water reservoir underneath. I didn't feel comfortable spraying the soil with anything on this grow, for some reason. The soil stays moist by itself with the cover over it & the 3 gallons of water underneath in reservoir. This girl is almost finished in week 9 of flower & I just noticed a few of these on my flowers. Please help if you know what it is. I looked at pictures online & closest thing I see to it is a flea beetle.. maybe? Dunno. Not thrilled Although I don't see to many as of yet. What would you experienced growers do after identifying the bug? I seriously appreciate the feed back.

I've had these before on an outdoor plant. Still want to know what they are. Ended up stuck to the stems, and looked like drops of black oil.

I ended up washing the buds and selling it for cheap as i didn't want to smoke it. If i could see them on the outside/stem, they were probably everywhere in buds.

Hopefully someone IDs them and best of luck.

I did notice my dog has fleas recently. So got him back on flea meds. He's always outside & then sometimes I find him sneaking around in my grow room. Dunno.. but maybe he brought something in with him.. or I thought maybe it's due to the earthbox soil staying too moist & covered all the time. I'll keep looking online. Appreciate the replies. I noticed 1 on a stem a week ago. & now finding several on the bottom buds (can't find any on the bigger top buds. Not sure.. but would like to keep the grow if possible. Maybe I'll wash em. Never done that before. Although I'm down.

Once again, Thanks bam0813 & jondamon for the feedback. From what I'm reading beetle mites or soil mites might not be so bad. So that makes me feel a little better. Although I'm inspecting all the buds again. For now only looks like a few crawled from soil to lower stems & buds. Have a great day & thx. Again for the replies. I'm learning.
