Are these seeds ?

Plant is a “Grape God”. 29 days since flip. Overall it doesn’t look very great, it’s starting to foxtail a little bit.

But my question is regarding the lower bud sites, a lot of brown pistils and the buds look very weird.

I’ve got it with two other plants, they both look decent. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find any male parts or nanners.

Does look like seeds. You see any bananas?

Next time skip the stem mutilation, causes stress. Some cultivars are prone to stress and it causes them to pop bananas (female staminate flowers) that dump pollen. Could be light stress or other environmental stress. Some genetics will pop bananas with the stress of just being alive.

Yeah I’ve had nanners before, I cannot find any right now though, I didn’t want to “mutilate” the stem lmao. It’s stretched like 5x and I had no room. I’ve got a journal labelled Cannatonic if you wanna check that out.

Lower stuff that looks weird

I believe it is a hermie. Those red pistils down low, each one leads to a seed on those lower bud sites. You can squeeze one of the seeds out and it is probably greenish white. I'd just cut all those bud sites off that have seeds. The lower branches/bud sites. Let the upper, larger buds finish.

Any budsite that is producing seeds will waste so much energy on seeds that would otherwise be used on bud.

Its a hermaphrodite,when stressed female plants can make seeds as a last attempt to further their lineage before/if they die

There is a higher chance of those seeds producing hermies,yes.

I actually have a couple more questions if you wouldn’t mind answering. I have two other plants in the cabinet (both Zkittlez) , they look pretty decent but I think there may be the odd seed on them. I’m assuming they got pollinated by the Grape God, they are also 33 days since flip.

My question is, if they were pollinated by the grape god would they be female seeds or prone to hermie as well?

The seeds on the Zkittlez aren’t on the colas, they’re down on lower bud sites.

those are seeds. Id keep them as they're most likely female. passed along Herm genetics though are more prone to go herm under stress in future lineages. I bet you have seeds in your main cola you just can't see them. If you squeeze the cola and you feel hard rocks its got seeds

Ok so another new question. I’m kind of confused, it turns out the grape god had tons of nanners so I tossed it but out of the two remaining Zkittlez plants only one got seeded ? I have kept a journal labelled Cannatonic if you want to look at the last few entries.

How can only one plant get seeded ?
