CBN is degraded THC. Why would we want that? Contrary to popular belief, weed can be over ripe, just like bananas. Everyone has their preference. I know people who refuse to eat bananas which are technically ripe, because they like their bananas on the green side. It's the same with weed. Personally I like my weed on time or even a bit early, compared to late and over ripe. I'm likely a minority here, but I like THC not CBN.

This is exactly it for me as well, holds true! Cannabis also continues to ripen just like fruit etc. When you pick that fruit it doesn't stop all the metabolic process and what not! It continues to have chemical processes until the day it's smoked for the most part. I harvest 10% early and/or a week or two after I feel it's harvest time. Essentially 8 weeks is a great timeline for (almost) any strain. Trichomes are what I personally grow for right now, so this is my goal! I look for 10% slightly amberish (CBD/N content highest in dark amber heads) turning, with 80% frosty white(peak THC content). The other 10% can be clear. These are simple figures, feel free to adjust as necessary! Remember the gland heads will turn spectrums clear/white/amber as they further dry and cure with time. Everyone has different tastes, your job is to accomodate the plants to produce your distinct flavour. That's really why I grow for myself, the ability to produce the exact flower, medicine, and effect/affect for your ailment/condition!! Have fun with it, don't stress, and please continue learning and growing yourself!!! Experience shall be your teacher!
