I still have a pair of the original Mars 300 blurples sitting on the shelf. Not even worth using them for a veg light.
Real QB's are a 'quantum leap' in efficiency and output compared to old 'blurple' tech.

yeah I have those same ones and they fuckin suck! Trying to see if I can somehow dim them for my indoor veggies lol.. Prolly just gonna get some other LEDS. I have seen alot of growers like the new mars QB's.

Considering I have tried asking them a few questions and never got responses, I would say their customer service is probably spotty.. I use horticultural lighting group because they're from the USA.The customer service for them is unparalleled in my experience! Yes the diodes and parts of the light are sourced from other countries but the customer service and quality is top notch.. Another lighting group I would consider is timber. If doing it yourself try cutter out!

Yes HLG has an advertisement here, but they do not need to have giveaways all the time to promote their product, and they still sell out of it. This is one point I'd like to make when you see the cost difference per watt of lighting of mars vs HLG. The fact that there are so many promos makes me weary of trying out one of their lights again, it is a big red flag for me. The cheaper light might seem enticing to start up with but in the end you get what you pay for

I even investigated whether I could retro-fit some more efficient light strips but the drivers they used aren't suitable for any decent stirps.
That's why they're on the shelf.
