Automating watering, how?

Hey guys. I was wondering if any of u know how to automate watering down to the point where u can choose how many ml or liters u want to water each time?

im growing in a small 2x2 box with 2 autoflower in 11L fabric pots.
I can only water the plants in the weekends (Because of work), which obviously wont be enough, haha.

Atm im using a 700L/hour water pump In a Black 20L bucket, that i turn ON/OFF using a sonoff wifi switch. I can turn it on/off no matter where i am in the world. But i have to count seconds and “guess” how much water they get, without even actually knowing.

I can only give biobizz nutrients in the weekends. I read somewhere, that the nutrients will break themselves down in the water after 1 day.

what can i do???

Next time your home. Place a measuring cup under one of your hoses thats feeding the plants. Time it on for 60 seconds and see how much is in the glass. This will let you know how much your dispensing in time vs not knowing how much water is being used.

Without being home it will be tough to know when they are drying out, another option to look at would be Blumats, they work by a sensor that sits in the soil and as the soil/probe drys out it automatically waters it.

As per your nutes, they seem to be designed to not be stored in a reservoir and i cant find much info about people using it in reservoirs so you could always switch to something else that can sit in a res.

That was very helpful, thanks for your time.
I will try the 60 seconds measuring when i get home, to get a good idea of how many seconds it takes. I hope i can find some organic nutes that can sit in a reservoir.
And if not: Do you think it could work fine just watering with nutes every 3rd time/once a week, or is it most optimal to feed nutes every watering?

If your not using organic supersoil then your not really doing organic. Most of the bottle supplements aren't considered organic.

I feed every watering and don't run into issues. If your only doing once a week I would look into using dry amendments and top dressing. Gaia green is pretty easy to find and is very green friendly. Use that and then only have to use water.

Im using biobizz light mix, and 5-10% worms castings.
Oh yeah, i saw Mr. Canucks from YouTube using that top dressing stuff and doing some tea kind of thing too for watering. I got an airpump and airstone i can use 24/7 running in my water bucket (only uses 2watt). Do you think its worth adding oxygen to normal water?
