i had started that thread asking about the collars and it was brought up about pests. think to make things easier i am going to color code my cloner. easier than trying to tag each oneYes, the different colored neoprene inserts are to help me identify the different strains in the cloner. As for the colors attracting bugs, I have read that before (on this site) but I'm not worried about it...
thanks for the tip stow. i currently use straight un ph'd tap with clonex solution and protekt.gonna have to try the aloe next rez changeHuel/MrBungle:
I've been using my ez-cloner for eons now with no issues. A couple things I'd recommend.....
Use plain tap water in the cloner. Don't fuck with RO water or any other type of filtered water. It is my assumption that the chlorine in tap water keeps the sprayers from clogging up and keeps things operating smoothly.
Add a half cup of aloe juice to your cloner. I was skeptical of doing this myself when it was recommended to me by someone on another site. I tried it, and the results were noticeably better (and quicker). I've been doing this for a few months now and am sold.
Gonna have to try the pro-tekt myself. I've heard from several people that this is beneficial as well.thanks for the tip stow. i currently use straight un ph'd tap with clonex solution and protekt.gonna have to try the aloe next rez change
The Jack the Ripper results aren't public because I wasn't really testing for potency...What were the results on the JTR?? I've been curious to find out myself but never got around to it.
Ah yes, I did read about the flood. So sad to hear, I was hoping you got farther than that with themThe Jack the Ripper results aren't public because I wasn't really testing for potency...
If you read a few pages back I posted about a flood I had in early april, the flood killed my air pump which nearly wiped out my whole garden. The pump failure was a major blow to the entire garden, and killed roughly half of my plants, including Jack the Ripper. This all happened when the JTR was only 5-6 weeks into flowering and no where near ready to be harvested. The majority of her buds were lightly trimmed and tossed in with my trim I make bubble hash from.
I did save a few select buds to cure and sample, they ended up having some of the sweetest lemon flavor/smell I've ever come across.
The reason I felt the need to test these buds even though they were a good 4-5 weeks from being mature is because I wanted to know if this JTR pheno contained THCV. THCV is pretty rare but JTR is one of the very few strains that can contain this cannabinoid in any significant amount. THCV is so rare that Iron Labs usually doesn't even test for it. Brent from Iron Labs (very cool cat) agreed to run a special test for me to see if there was any amount of THCV in this JTR cut, sadly there was no THCV found.
Thanks brother, I appreciate your kind words.Just read all 22 pages. Sorry for your troubles in your grows...reminds me of my luck lol. Seems like every grow a life altering event happens for me lol. Anyways, you got some very nice plants. Would kill to get my hands on a cutting of your catatonic.
