Who takes a gun from someone, is told it' not loaded, and then points it at someone and pulls the trigger?

Is there anyone here that wouldn't have checked the gun themselves? Baldwin is an idiot. That's a fact.
Nobody thought it was empty a cold gun is a gun full of blanks so on a movie set with a prop gun yes I get how it could happen it’s being made into something bigger than what it is Chicago had fourteen murders over 27 hours the other day why aren’t we talking about that shit this is pointless why do we give this so much attention it’s a mistakenly blank round put into a movie prop gun it happens a half gram of too much black powder would’ve made into a projectile instead of a blank if anything we should hold the manufacturer accountable and if you want to talk about gun violence this was not a act of aggression simply a accident a horrible accident accountability should be made but in what direction as this will have a lot of mitigating circumstances around the whole event and handling of the firearm and rounds goto the store buy a round of blanks and buy a round of live rounds and lay them out beside each other and tell me which is which so yes as a professional on set I would think that the people in which I entrusted with there job would do it which would be the armorer and assistant armeror who check all prop guns I’m a welder and electrician and go by the word of my coworkers constantly because they are professional in what they do and I’ve worked along side them for a long time and trust them i practice caution and safety which for all we know was done so imagine this boom he pulls the trigger nothing happens you think okay good to go right then he pulls the trigger again and bam somebodies hurt imagine how you would feel imagine how many small things you’ve overlooked that could’ve actually resulted in somebody getting hurt it’s a horrible accident this is just a forum of hate and bigotry somewhere for people to shove their anger at something else

It was a Clinton Crime Family hit! Baldwin is backamiled (Epstein Island) as it half the cast. Hutchins husband is on the lawyer Team under investigation though the recent indictment of Sussmann. The assistant director was involved in Bruce Lees sons killing on the set too! Same setup.

His career is far from over. He’s the only guy to play trump on Saturday night live. Lmfao. Honestly. I think that’s where his career stands. And probably not anymore

I to believe their is a black secret. But not against whom lost their life. Remember. The director of the film was shot as well. And a large portion of people walked off set in protest against safety concerns hours before the shooting. And also. More than one live round was fried. That’s weird. Iv shot blanks. You can feel the blowback from the projectiles. Vs not and just powder weight.

Let me know the difference between a blank and a live round I’ve shot both and besides powder weight they’re no differences I fully believe somebody should be held accountable but would you hold a driver accountable for a tire falling off the car he was test driving no you would hold the dealership accountable who would In turn hold the mechanic accountable I mean wow your post is just anger fully agreed guns and radical people are a problem and gun safety should always be first and foremost when dealing with things like this but not all events are that clean cut there are many mitigating circumstances with this you have professional armorers who’s job it is to load check inspect and provide the safe firearm You also have a chain of handling with firearms like this where it is handed from a merit to producer to actor on set to avoid accidents which is what this a accident and should be treated as such just a shame a person or multiple persons lives were affected including mr. baldwins
One BIG difference between a blank and a live round is the bullet...... A blank does not have a bullet in it, it is just powder in a crimped off casing.

Iv watch the rock check his prop gun in fast and furious

actually. Quite a bit of actors check the gun before action. Not for live rounds. But checked to make sure the gun doesn’t just go click at scene. There is so many reasons to check the gun before yelling action.

The Assistant Director who said the gun was cold.

Dave Halls Claimed Gun on Alec Baldwin Set was Safe Before Giving It to Actor

It’s reported that a man on location assured Baldwin that the gun was safe to use. The man’s name was Dave Halls.

In 2000, Halls was the second unit’s first assistant director on The Crow: Salvation, the sequel to the film in which Bruce Lee’s son Brandon Lee was killed in an on-set firearms mishap in 1993. He’s been involved in numerous movies over his career:

And there were two other gun incidents on this set that got the crew all upset and walked off.
And then there is this picture of Seth Rich.

It’s beyond stupidity. It also leads you to believe what did she have on him? Let’s just play devils advocate here . maybe she had something on him and it was his chance to place a permanent muzzle on her. Who knows what the fuck those 2 were doing together. We know he is a total creep from his other criminal activities and she is from Russia.
Throw him back in jail.
Didn't he beat up his first wife, Kim Basinger.?
you are putting to much thought into a accident man maybe she was actually a trump spy there to assassinate mr Baldwin for playing such a compelling Donny on SNL I bet she was there trying to collude on the upcoming midterm elections and how to better jerk mr Putin off

You bring up a good point about coworkers and accountability . I also work along side professional colleagues who I trust when handing me medication to inject and yes I trust them and yes regard them as ethically sound .... but do I check to make sure I have the proper medication absolutely every time I inject. Yes, I do . Why because everyone can make a mistake and at the end of the line is me. I take full responsibility and Alec Baldwin should step up, be a man, and assume responsibility .

Totally different my man we all have accountability and please explain what actions Baldwin should’ve taken should he have unloaded the gun checked each round because he’s a trained firearm tech who was employed by the movie company or should he fire all rounds into the air to make sure they are duds should he weigh each round I’m just curious as I can put a meter on a line to see if it’s live and you can clearly read a label or pill to make sure it’s correct what if I handed you six Tylenol told you five are duds and one is not how would you tell which one is the dud like I said many many mitigating circumstances you have a firearm which changes hands multiple times a day you have a person who is a actor not a trained firearm armorer do you inspect the airplane before you board it or do you think the pilot inspects the whole plane before take off or does he follow protocol he follows protocol anybody who served should understand how this could happen do I think mr Baldwin is at some fault yes why would you point the gun at anybody you were not directed to point the gun at but is he entirely at fault no way and that’s what everything will say in the end I think everybody is so quick with the blame shit but remember we weren’t there for all we know some methed up dude said fuck it and bought live rounds and switched them out because he thought it would be funny standard firearm training isn’t applied here for instance if you hand me a firearm I clear it if I handed you one I clear it before I hand it to you if I picked up a random firearm I clear it if I was shooting something and stopped I clear it but this is a movie set not real life unfortunately somebody got hurt in real life and a lot of people will have to live with that I think we should give Alex Baldwin our sympathies as this was an accident and will have long term effects on his psych as well

You don't need to be a professional armorer to tell the difference between a blank and a live round. Its very easy to see one has a bullet in it the other does not........ Your insistence that its hard to tell the difference makes it clear you don't know what you are even talking about....

Wow man promoting gun violence your an idiot if you think we need a movie to influence Americans on gun violence were already there it’s like racism we discuss it like it’s a new issue no bud it’s been here so what your saying is the movie is the reason for this whole thing and yeah we live in America you have the right to own firearms and we don’t train ourselves properly me truthfully I think if you didn’t serve you have no reason to own a firearm at all or if you haven’t gone thru the proper training but hey man I’m just an idiot what do I know let me ask you something for what reason does a private citizen need to own a fully or semi auto weapon I’m open to hear it

Obviously anyone that owns a gun should have proper training on safety, use and storage. Ideally anyone willing to use a gun should also have basic trauma treatment training.

However why a citizen should own a semi auto is simple, personal defense. Whether that be at home during the long period between someone breaking in and invading your house, and when the cops FINALLY get there after being called. Or if you are like me and many others who enjoy hiking/camping in forests that are home to cougars and bears, and sadly sometimes weirdos on drugs, carrying a firearm is wise to prevent being attacked and killed in the woods. It would be foolish to think a single shot weapon would be enough against any decent size animal.

the common person who doesn’t shot guns and doesn’t handle live rounds might not know the difference the topic was Alec baldwins fault right is he trained to tell the difference do you know for sure I mean I can hand you a triple a stainless weld rod and hand you a 7018 mixed metal rod can you tell me the difference sir seeing as your not a welder who handles weld rods I doubt it and not all blanks are made that way look at the rounds they use in the westerns clear as day bullet in the shell no powder look it up so please reinform me how he knows it’s not a live round your common blanks do not have the bullet in it correct but movie set productions carry powder less rounds for show easy could get mixed up your insistence on being a jack ass tells me your a jack ass have a good day guys enjoy your argument at the end of the day that man won’t face charges insurance will pay somebody policies will be put in place for better assurances and you’ll all still be arguing
I actually have done some research, and actually shot some of these bullets and blanks. The only other style I've seen or come across are ones with a paper or plastic wad at the end of the casing to hold everything in. While the wad can be dangerous, its not a bullet and doesn't look like one.

Anyone using a firearm whether real or prop should be trained with enough ability to make sure they are being safe, because even props with blanks can be dangerous. Thats why movie sets use a variety of safety protocol to keep everyone safe. Which raises the real question......how did a live round end up in the gun.

I don't think he will get charged with anything either btw. I'm just trying to help inform you about this topic since you are sitting here making bold inaccurate statements about the subject.

There is absolutely no reason a private citizen should own a fully or even semi auto firearm in mean most of us do but personal protection isn’t one of them I own 357 it could easily put a person down to protect myself isn’t a semi auto or nothing and if your walking in the woods bud carry the proper firearm with you if you know big game are in your area carry a larger round rifle or shotgun proper preparation and common sense prevents the need for semi and fully auto weapons of all semi and fully auto weapons weren’t on the streets a lot a choices would be made differently the time it takes to pull a hammer back can change the minds of a lot of people committing those actions private protection and crap is only valid because of the abundance of already semi and fully auto weapons out there if those were not the case we wouldn’t need them in our civilian lives fully automatic weapons were designed for war and war alone also the semi auto rifles and handguns that where invented In the early 20th century where done so to inflict the most carnage on an opposing army as possible no need for them
