Beirut explosion.

The explosion looked liked one mushroom cloud and all..did you see what looked like lighting before it exploded?
Trump probably got rid of regulations prohibiting massive amounts of explosives to be stored in cities, no problem.

Any large explosion produces an over pressure shockwave, sometimes the change in pressure condenses the water vapor in the air. It also produces a vacuum that sucks debris up into a classic mushroom cloud, the bigger the bang, the bigger the effect. There is video of a similar explosion in the states, in a more rural area with Potassium perchlorate (a rocket fuel oxidizer), you can see the shockwave approaching at high velocity as it spreads out and dissipates.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said U.S. military generals have told him that they “seem to feel” the massive explosion that rocked Beirut on Tuesday, killing at least 70 people, was a “terrible attack” likely caused by a bomb.

Trump was asked why he called it an attack and not an accident, especially since Lebanese officials say they have not determined the cause of the explosion. He told reporters at the White House: “It would seem like it based on the explosion. I met with some of our great generals and they just seem to feel that it was. This was not a — some kind of a manufacturing explosion type of a event. ... They seem to think it was a attack. It was a bomb of some kind, yes.”

Gee whiz, I wonder who would set off a bomb in Beirut, Lebanon?
Let me think about it for awhile, & I'll get back too you.

yes, Al Jazeera got it covered quite well, the firecrackers did ignite the fert... it burned in flames high (one couldnt really see it due to the smoke...) then there was a huge fiery explosion and the following shockwave (due to heat) lifted alot of water from the sea in the air (the white round plume)

You can get a mushroom cloud from an M80 firecracker if you put it on loose dust.

If that had been a dirty bomb the deaths would have been 55 times the level instantly and would have been detected instantly.
also the exposion was recorded visibly... and an atomic nuke would have released a flash of light so bright it wouldn've melted the camera-sensor und the electromagnetic pulse would've given alot of devices a thourough burn through.

Cot dayum that is fucked up. A hundred dead?? Anyone with a fully functional brain can see it will be way more than that. I just watched a video on TYT where a person was filming from a balcony and looked like they got blown off. Insane shit for an accident.

Those Grain Elevators where built well when you consider the crater size next to them.
Reinforced concrete construction and it looks like they had the inside divided up as well, no floors to collapse, just a big heap of grain that probably saved the rest of the structure. It would be like those barrels of sand they put at the end of highway dividers to absorb impact and cushion the blow.
