Best Blueberry?

So I figure this has been discussed already, but who do you guys think has the best blueberry? Granted, DJ short has the original in his F5 version, but I have heard that it doesn't have that much of a kick to it? Im looking for that old school delicious blueberry smell that has a good stone too it. Thanks for the help everyone!

Cannarado has an exceptional cut of blueberry that comes thru in the crosses beautifully. The Blueberry Shortcake I kept gets a lot of love for its terps and potency. Its got the same crinkle leaf sensitivity as the old bb lines from years ago and it holds its own against a few elite breeder cuts I have going.
I cannot recommend those crosses enough, especially if its true blueberry terps you seek.

Thanks.
And I am glad for your findings.
How many seeds did you start?

You're welcome. If I remember correctly it was 6 seeds. I ended up with 3 girls. They all had very deep blueberry terps.
The blueberry cut Rado is using really is something special. This one and the Blueberry Sundae have come back with glowing reports. In fact, I'd say this one of my standouts from all the seeds I germed in 2018-19.
I've grown it both indoors and out so it checks that box too. Extremely hearty.

If you cant find these, you might be able to find out who else has the cut Rado is using. Surely he acquired it from another "breeder" or vice versa so you should be able to find it in other crosses out there.

If its just Terps you are after. I have an irie genetics donatello pheno that tastes exactly like blueberries. I'm in my 30's and the most memorable high was blueberry . The real deal. It was so psychedelic and euphoric that I would know it right away by looks, smell and high. Neon green buds. Unforgettable herb. Please let me know if you find it!
Sorry im high and got emotional

Most of todays blueberry is just not what it was. May I suggest Lavender? Last trip to a Mass. dispensary I picked up a 1/4.......def couchlock with nice taste.....I'd buy that again if near Great Barrington and if it was in stock.....most of their flower is MEH
i had lavender awhile. someone suggested it tasted blueberry but i found lavender to taste like a banana nut muffin. nice flavor but not old bb.

Back in the early 90s or maybe late 90s-2000s I ordered DJ Short Blueberry from Marc Emery out of the back of Cannabis Culture
Magazine. It produced 4 distinct phenos to my observation. 3 were similar 1 was super blue almost dark purple
and like a heavy smoky taste interisting but not very potent. 1 of the similar 3 was what I would call the classic pheno of this plant.

There wasnt anyone who didnt love it. But alas I lost those seeds (long story) but it was in the 20% range
and one of the best highs to me still to this day.

On a recent trip to Norcal I picked up Nat Pennington of Humboldt seed fames Blueberry Muffin a signture strain
for that company. Havent grown yet but cant wait. Anyone tried this one?

Yea I’ve grown 4 females of the neW DJ blueberry stock. Out of those 4, 3 were giant yielding, fluffy garbage. One though was denser, turned slightly purple and smelled exactly like blueberry muffins. It wasn’t super potent but I enjoyed it a ton, great for pain relieve. Just picked up AKBB vintage blueberry and going to plant a few in a week. Hopefully find something better in these but I believe if you popped a couple packs of DJ you’d find a good one

I concur with all of this. The old blueberry lines had good terps and a stoney buzz but lacked an in-depth high. Same with MOAB. But, a lot of breeders have used DJs stock to further the line. With a little digging you can find those traits. (nute sensitive, crinkle leaf, indi with sat growth patterns)
i have half a pack of dj short blueberry. ill try the rest of them, the first 5 i did were garbage.
Same. I traded for a couple packs a few years ago and it was a complete bust. Mutants and herms galore.

At the risk of sounding obnoxious/smug (not my intent) I must add, I grew up on the barrens where the real native wild berries grow. When I say Rados blueberry is authentic, I aint kiddin around.

And the extracts are phenomenal.

I still have some fresh frozen I made from last years outdoor.

I don't throw my hat in this ring lightly because I don't get down with shills but I'll DM Rado and inquire about his bb. There's some other cats here that might know a little more as well.
If he responds, I'll update this thread. I have a feeling the cut he holds is being used/worked by others in the game...though he may not be willing to share that info. dunno.gif

Edited to shorten. Dabs and strong coffee got me yappin away, lol

When I say Rados blueberry is authentic, I aint kiddin around. Its like standing in he middle of the blueberry barrens during harvest season.

Looks great, wish I could still find a pack of Cannarado's blueberry though!
