Best breeders of blue dream

Hi guys

I did a HSO blue dream grow outdoors just a single plant and it went really well.

As I can't find blue dream from HSO any more what other breeders uave the best blue dream seeds. I have been looking at blimburn seeds and garden of green seeds but can't commit as I can only grow 1 plant at a time for personal use
And I am a beginner I am looking for an extremely easy to grow strain that doesn't mind a subtropical environment. That won't stink out my neighbourhood.

HSO blue dream ticked all these boxes but I an also open to other strains that are also like this if you have any suggestions

Thanks

I too had a clone of Blue Dream over 8 years ago.
I was very happy with the cross I made with another strain.
I never actually smoked any Blue Dream itself.
Since I don't know very much about Blue Dream and this is a thread about who has the best BD seeds I thought to add that it can be ordered from 1645370860392.png
HOWEVER, it looks like SeedsMan is the manufacturer of these seeds.

That is what I have. I intend to recreate a cross I made many moons ago.
I was reading that true Blue Dream has a specific leaf growth pattern?
Can anyone explain what that is?
I don't know enough about BD to know the difference and I want to speak the truth about what Genetics I use in any cross.

As for the cross I made many years ago. I didn't have much space in my 20 foot trailer so I did a quick breeding with a strain I made and the results were two seeds. Yes I was growing with an old tech LED light in a breadbox so to speak. No room to grow big.
So I grew out those two seeds and a bug killed one seedling and the other was rushed into the flower box as soon as it was ready. so I had just a little bud to try.
The cross was emotional in a way. I liked watching movies when I smoked that. I experienced deeper emotions on the love side with that cross.
The flavor was excellent and I thought "man I bet women will really dig this too."

Anyway again... What is the known leaf pattern for true Blue Dream?

The genetics listed are
GeneticsBlueberry Ice x Haze

With any clone only strain, your best bet for seeds will be S1s or a backcross from a respected breeder. I can't think of anyone doing a SCBD backcross off hand, so I'd either go for the S1s or try to find an authentic SCBD clone-which may be hard to impossible due to the astounding # of fakes. It was a good clone only strain back when the clones were everywhere in the Bay Area during the Medical only days. Most seeds you are finding, like HSO (which was kicked out of Spain and now resides in Austria, hahaha) do their own "blue dream" crosses, which is random haze X random blueberry....the problem with that is, the market is rife with terrible hazes and even more terrible blueberries. You really want the original if you want the true Blue Dream experience.

I want the original or at least whatever cut I had.

That cross was very nice. Nice for cuddling on the couch with my woman watching movies for sure.

So any suggestions on sourcing Blue Dream is appreciated. Until I know better I will try the Seedsman version. This time around I will smoke some actual blue dream and make that cross. Perhaps I will be satisfied with the recreation from a decade ago.

I don't know if it's the best breeder, but they are cheap and in Oregon:

I bought these a year or two ago and haven't run them yet. I need to...
I will run these along with Seedsman and see which cross is best.
Perhaps if there is interest this would make a nice grow thread.

I ended up getting some bluebdream seeds from weed seed express. So will see how they go.
I got them from humboldtbseed organisation last time and it grew like a beast. If the ones I got now aren't as good I will go back to humboldt as they are making blue dream available again at the end of the year

I popped two of Premium Seed Markets Blue Dream and also Texada Timewarp. Excellent germ on both. We will see in a few months how they do.

Picked up some regular BD.
So Oregon x Seedsman x these regulars
I think the IBD ( Illinois Blue Dream Strain) is going to happen.
@Scotty_the_guy I am just getting started with BD basically. What was the HumboldtSeeds BD like? Was it tasty?

So far the Premium Seed Market germinated the largest and earliest ( in cooler soil and cool ambient air ) plant.
My plan B here is to make a feminized cross of Seedsman and PSM. Trying for both lines to be pollen parent.
Now that I have "BD Regulars" I'll be wanting to get a handsome male out of those.

I have a question on Stem Rubs and BD.

Spicy or Sweet?
How was your Humboldt?

-----------------

Edit: I'm looking at what has been said.

Seedsman Regulars lists
Blueberry crossed with Super Silver Haze has produced Blue Dream. This strain offers both physical and cerebral effects.
Marijuana Seed Breeders has this to say.
Blue Dream is a fast-growing and early flowering cross between Blueberry Sativa and New York City Diesel.
Preimum Seeds is a bit more vague with
Crossed with Blueberry and original Haze
OG Haze maybe?

Well, I need ideas on how to make an official Illinois Blue Dream Strain of regular seeds.

So, it looks like several "Haze" have been used.
I have a "Haze" one step removed with MMS here.

I don't know. Maybe breed all three and get a real good Blueberry to hit the best of that crossing with and then start in on the Fn process of selecting for traits. { F1, F2 ... Fn }

Suggestions? Observations on different traits in BD?

Hey Mate
I really liked the humboldt Blue dream.
As for breeding I'm not really sure. I guess you should just find the best blue berry pheno you can find and then the best Haze pheno. And then work with them. My favourite traits of blue dream from humboldt is they are a heavy yeilder, grow very quickly and don't stink the house out. It also had a bluish hue. It also didn't have any trouble with humidity. It sat in the rain for 2 weeks strait right at the end of flower. And only just started to get some rot but no mould I only lost a chunk of bud as big as my small fingernail. I guess you could start growing blue dream from all the different breeders and see what you like then mix them togeather and pheno hunt for the best then keep crossing them until it's stable.

Thanks. I'm just learning so it helps to ask questions.

I will grow out and select. It should be a fun and useful exercise. It will take about 18 months but what doesn't?
Thanks Mate!

Real BD is Santa Cruz Haze x Blueberry.

Did you ever grow out the 2 BD's?
How was the grow/smoke?
I got two males. :-(

I had about a 70% males this go-round. I am going to have to go back to hunting one strain at a time to add to my outdoor selections next year. I kinda just popped a bunch of stuff in a panic when I thought I wasn't testing enough new things. :-)

They were very vigorous plants, if that helps. Good frost resistance down into the upper 30F's with a sudden shift from indoors to outdoors in late May.
