The Photontek 600w is the same as the Lumatek Zeus 600w Pro that Migro evaluated and raved about earlier this year. They're the same company - Lumatek for Europe and Photontek for US. They use Osram and Philips diodes ... much like FLuence ... and have very comparable stats with the Spydr 2p and 2i. More red and less blue than the typical Samsung bars.
If you're not in a hurry, the new 10 bar 1000w fixture should be out before the end of the year and looks to be a killer for 5x5 spaces.

This all depends on how deep your pockets are? I would personally go with 2 growcraft x6 if money’s wasn’t a factor. But I’m very happy with my Meijiu mj650’s.

About to fire up the room again this weekend

Could you share your knowledge on this concern?
What keeps me from pulling the trigger on any Kingbrite or Meijiu is wiring and certification.
Some have said it poses a fire risk. What is your take on this?

I’ve seen more HLG boards and diodes charred then anything from Meijiu or kingbright. But the cock gobblers will say different. Both my rooms have been running Meijiu for almost 3 years without a hiccup.

Spend your money how you wish.

If you want to stick a bar fixture in a tent please figure out how youre going to hang it, and how youre going to access each corner or point of support in order to raise or lower. The real benefit of these fixtures is their ability to hang low on top of your cannopy, if theyre just hanging in the top of your tent your loosing out on utility and if you havent figured out how to adjust height theyre likely to stay high thru the grow.

As for brands: meijiu seems fine, never heard of their strip lights going wrong or burning anything down. 2 years in/over 20000 diodes hanging and not one dead diode, but then again we run everything softish.
Geeklight and Mammoth lighting also comes to mind re bar lights, both incorporate some uv or near uv which is great.

What an amazing job! Congratulations. I would like to know if you keep using meijiu. I recently bought a Meijiu f10 1000w, im hoping it arrives next week.

oh its so big, my tent flaps had to be wide open to shove it in my 4 x 4
It grows plants better than my Mars and SF does. Best $400 I’ve ever spent in my life. Literally. My current harvest is going to be well over 18-20oz and I didn’t even need to use 100% power.
