Which lights do you currently run? What’s your budget to light up the 4x8?

Thise only cover a 2x4 area each. So technically you’re only lighting up half your tent.

Was looking at Gavita 1700
I once used hps 1000 watt with much better yields
But for the 4x8 maybe I need more light

That's a 400watt lamp (including the fans, so maybe 360watts LED power), but they are less efficient AC driven COBs, So likely around the same light output as a 250watt QB.

Growdaddyled.com. Cheap ass US made LEDs. Meanwell drivers and Samsung Diodes. Got a 500 watt and 250 watt for the tent. Now flowering 6x4 of that 8x4. You’re going to need multiple fixtures in that area

I'd defo doubt on the US made claim: they are using epistars for reds and have the same design as Meijiu 288s. No biggie, the meijiu boards are good as well but I'd wait for a sphere test or gonio before trusting the efficiency claims. But having assembly and warranty closer than china is good.
