Best pump sprayer?

What’s up, everyone.

Can anyone recommend the best pump sprayer out there for my weekly preventative sprays?

I don’t need a large volume (a gallon or less should do it). I just need one that will give me a nice fine mist/fog spray and last a long time. I haven’t had great luck with the cheap offerings from Home Depot, Ave Hardware, etc… They never seem to give me that nice fine mist/fog that I’m looking for, and don’t seem to last very long.

I’ve got one of these that gives me the misty spray I’m looking for, but it doesn’t work well upside down (for spraying up under the canopy) and it makes my hand cramp up after a while.

Any recommendations?

I use the same hand sprayer from the hardware store that sounds like yours. None seem to make a fine mist and my outdoor plants would take forever and I didn’t feel good about the coverage . For them I have a 2g Hudson atomizer but overkill for a tent maybe one of those smaller ones like this

Pricey in comparison but there’s no comparison to the time and product it saves when it comes to big plants or the smoke like mist it can do. I’ve never seen a box store pump sprayer make a good mist always seem to spilt large droplets when on fine

Yeah… It’s kinda looking like I just need to spring for a Hudson fogger. What’s another $160, anyway?

Mud that’s pretty interesting, never thought of that. Do you remove any filters?
hollatchboy I just searched Chapin. Looks decent but I’m liking their duster and for 15 bucks! Ya I’m ordering one

I’ve had a couple Chapin sprayers. They were better than some I’ve tried, but still didn’t give me the fine mist/fog I’m looking for.

Thinking I’ll just hold out until payday then buy a Hudson fogger.

I watched a few videos of the Hudson and I’m sold… I like how the air pressure seems to lift up each individual leaf so you can hit it from all sides - kinda like the Marilyn Monroe effect. Haha!

nope, no need to...just mix what i want in a 5gal bucket, drop the siphon tube in(w/filter), prime it, and im spraying just as good or better than a gro king. if you've ever had to drain and clean any sizable tank then a graco is the way to go. i have a 50' hose and zoom through maintenance sprays for large bushes.

Last year my 20-year old sprayer quite on me so I got a cheap HDX from Home Depot. Big mistake. Returned it after a month. This year I'm having good luck with this DeWalt model so far:

I use the cheapo 2 gallon ones from Home Depot. They work and last a few years. Although I have been looking at the electric ones as pumping gets old.

This one for $79.99 has caught my eye. But I'm such a tightwad I'll probably keep pumping by hand.
