About the time I got away from the house rental growing on the east side of Indy. In the area of 42nd and Post as in the nineties house rentals where cheap for the prices we got for weed then.
Very familiar with that area, I went to Warren Central HS @16th and Post and Roller Cave @21 Post all through Jr High. Lived off of German Church Rd at that time.

yes , a lot of my buddies down their went to the same school. I lived in Marten Manor apartments on 42nd and Franklin for a couple of years in the early 80's. Used to hang out at the Enterprise night club on 42nd around the same time.

The black bear down here eat a lot of berries, it's like a greasy, sweet flavor, pretty good stuff. I always got a laugh out of trying to feed it to the dogs, the won't touch it because it's a predator, same with mountain lion meat.

In years past while out of town duck hunting we've had to eat a lot of ducks due to possession limits. We were on an early season run in iowa and grilled a pile of bacon wrapped duck, gave some to the dog and she ate the bacon off and left the duck breast, lol!

don't blame the dog, i don't like duck much either..too greasy. only way i've had it that i like is how they make it at the Chinese restaurant i worked at years ago, all cripsy, with little pancakes and a lot of sauce to dip it in
I don't like duck unless they've been hanging in corn fields for a while. Much better than the ones eating moss in the river.

Wall pedestal 1/2 sneak.

I love looking at the mounts , going back to the different mountains, thinking about what went right , what went wrong, the pain, the cold, the perseverance to see a goal to the end .
I saved some backstrap for the occasion,
BBQ @ -30 tomorrow .

Now my focus is on bringing home my last ram. 180+ or it will get a pass .

One of these days I might get a sheep tag, about a 20 year wait here in Co. Nice buck.

Thank man,
If you could find yourself a nice Canadian girl, n move to AB , I can put one in front of ya.......... if you could keep up.....
Or if you have an extra 40-50k I could put you in touch with different outfitters , if your paying that much I’d kick in an extra 10 for a couple satellite scouts to help up the odds of something nice vs something legal vs going home empty.

Here your aloud a tag every year till you fill that tag , then you sit out the next year.
It’s bad odds , about 200 filled tags for over 10k issued .

I not sure my wife would approve of a second life in Canada, lol.... Pretty sure I could keep up, put a hurting on the kids this year.... And I would never pay that much for a hunt.... My old man drew a unit 10 bull tag in Co after 16 yr, when we scouted, trophy bulls galore, got out there to hunt and all the elk were on private the whole hunt, 10-20k trespass fees. Everyone out there knew how it went too, like a friggin setup. Went home with a 5 point the last day, but that hunt left a sour taste in our mouths on how some trophy areas are becoming.

Ya , a second life in a different country would be hard to pull off.

I would never pay that for a hunt either , I would love a grand slam but can’t wrap my head around the price ,
Elk are very smart they know where they don’t get shot at , even the rams know where the park line is and once people start showing up they head to the park, then your waiting for storms to push them out , or them moving to the pre rut area.

They are pretty smart critters. Seen them do things that people wouldn't believe, like hiding under the brows of a big spruce and letting people walk by them.

You all can call me by my middle name "Bad Ass Mo'fuker"

"Don't mess with Colorado trail runners," Colorado Gov. Jared Polis said about the incident

I seen that yesterday. Just gonna put it out there..... that ain't happening with an adult kitty! Lol. That cat probably just left it's momma.

Side note, there's been a few sightings of these things packed up around me recently. I seen a trail cam video from someone's driveway with 4 of them together a fee weeks ago. I think cpw is starting to realize there's more kitties than they thought there were, finally.
