Brand new seed packs with cracked seeds?

Like the post says, I opened some brand new packs of seeds and there was a single seed cracked open already in two different packs. None of the other packs I opened up at the same time had this problem and it was more than just a few packs I opened. There's no way it was caused by me. I was very careful with them right on arrival and put them straight into a jar where they stayed safe and they came in vials which seem to protect the seeds, which makes me think they were packaged like this. It was archive rainbow beltz and umami seeds limecai.
Could these seeds still possibly be viable? Maybe I'm being petty complaining about this considering its a single seed in both but it just seems a little messed up how rainbow beltz is 6 for 120 and limecai is 10 for 150 and they include a cracked open seed at those prices? I've opened 3 other packs from archive without this problem and this is my 1st time buying a pack from umami but I just don't understand how seeds like this get thrown in the vial. Where's the quality control for the prices being charged? The prices are high but seem reasonable for the quality they most likely are, but I would expect every seed to be a good seed still. The rainbow beltz cracked seed is particularly disappointing considering that one isn't readily available and never stays in stock very long and only comes with 6 a pack.
Maybe I'm just petty or maybe the seeds are still perfectly growable but I just expected the advertised amount of good healthy seeds. Anyone ever experience this? Anyone ever germinate a seed that was already opened on arrival and had no issues at all?

Ya dude it happens, you're dealing with seeds. Its organic material-a living thing. It came from a plant, shit happens, I have had a cracked one on way more pricey packs dude, it's not a big deal let it go.
I guess if it's a common occurrence it isn't a big deal. You would think though that they would just throw those seeds out instead of passing it on to their customers. I will still buy from them most likely but it still doesn't sit right with me.

I'd try germinating them. I have had this pop up on a few different chucks of mine and I tried germinating them to see if they'd go, they did.

Take a pic of seeds first in case they don't germinate and you have proof for replacement.

Dealing with thousands of seeds sometimes things slip through. Hopefully they shoot out tap roots but still I feel your pain.

The limecai doesn't really bother me considering it was a 10 pack but the rainbow beltz only had 6 and that one was sold out real quick on me 3 different times, so I was happy when I did get it and then I get 5/6. Unfortunate.

The only issue is dude from Archieve is kind of grouchy. He may be reluctant to hear your complaint but he will probably come through after some emails.

Ive seen this many times and I felt the same until I realized how they package that many vials and packs of seeds so its easy for this to happen but most companies add at least 1-5 extra beans in the tube for this hassle of course if you email them politely and be polite they will gladly send you extra beans probably of something even better more then likely. I recently bought the Rainbow Belts 2.0 & Umami Los Celos & Cherry limeade which they gave me 3 KeyLimeade freebees and Cherry Pie Froyo freebees I popped the Key Limeade got 1 keeper but couldn't find a home so I pollinated her just to get some fire beans but she was Key Lime Pie dominant for sure a little sweet Lime Sherbert treat. I had gotten the 300$ regs of Rainbow belts and had 1 bad but I think they gave me an extra so it was no worries. I opened both my other umami everything great. Still haven't grown out the others but Ive had many broken seeds white seeds yellow seeds miniature runt seeds but sometimes they can surprise you and germinate into a good plant.
