Breeding with fems?

Is it contraindicated to create seed pairing a regular male pollen with a feminized flower?
After browsing a couple threads I have inferred conflicting information. It seems one opinion is that this increases potential for hermaphroditism, the other opinion that feminized stock is frequently used for seed production, and isn’t a problem. I can see the potential for both of these positions to have truth but the nuances of practical application escape my experience. Recommend reference material is appreciated. I ask in regards to potentially experimenting with some seed production from crosses but don’t want to set myself up for unnecessary trouble. My self education will continue before the attempt but this question escaped a few cursory searches. Thanks.

Using regular male pollen on a feminized female plant will not cause issue with the progeny at all. As long as the female is stable in flower and doesn’t show any herm traits you are fine.

Some people have an uneasy feeling about feminized seeds so they say don't breed with them, among other things. As far as I can tell it is just a feeling they have and there isn't any evidence or really any specific reason why it may be true.

Yeah, I believe you pointed out elsewhere that it is more of an inherited genetic trait to “hermie”.
Appreciate the input

I’m looking for the same info cuz I wanna F1-2 the hell out of this cross. I eventually want to BX em at the 4-6 generation but we’ll see that’s way far out.
You can definitely breed with fems, when you grow out the offspring just check for herms like you would with any cross, then select for the traits you want. Most of the high priced packs being sold are fem + fem reversal, and lots of those guys sell the offspring without even growing them out, you can do way better at home.
