Step one is remove all fan leaves and only save material that is TOTALLY covered in trichomes. That will ensure that that the quality of whatever you do with it will be at its peak.

Then if you wanna make some butter or coconut oil do it. I used to use a small crockpot with 4 sticks of butter in it, and enough trim material to fill to the point the butter just covered it. Let it simmer on low for 6-8 hours and then press the material in a metal strainer or cheese cloth to push the butter out. It was always DANK butter, but it tastes like plant material and makes anything you cook it into taste funny.

Then I started making QWISO or QWET. Which are forms of alcohol extracted concentrates. Its a very simple process, here is a link to how I make mine https://www.rollitup.org/t/thundercats-groooooooow.131193/page-134 . When I make my QWISO I do 3 washes which produce 3 different quality levels. The first wash is super premium oil that is great head stash. The second wash produces good quality oil for average dabs. The third wash produces lower quality oil that has some chlorophyl in it. I don't dab the 3rd wash oil, but it makes AWESOME edibles. You can take the concentrate and dissolve it directly into butter or coconut oil and make whatever you want with it. It is much easier to figure out rough dosage, and it won't taste like cannabutter or plant material.
