Was thinking maybe a hornet

I was walking around in India and felt this crawling sensation down my back, took my top off and it was one of them but bigger and more yellow

I can’t find it in pics of bees or Hornets black head black silver hairy body orange legs and light iridescent brown wings, strange only 1 just hangs out on the plants, no bites in leaves

Killers don’t have black heads and pinchers

I give up it’s just an alien

Its an impressive beast for sure.

Saw this on CNN giant hornets.

They're asking for people to report sightings too. If you do better hope that crops legal!

Looks like the middle picture and sizing looks about right.

I believe that is a cicada killer wasp.
