Bug Bombs - Pyrethian PR or something about $22. Docktor Doom is about $8 to 9 a can but it is about 1/4th the strength. If the tent is in your house then leave and take any pets with you.

Empty tent between grows? Spray or wipe down with a bleach and water solution. Make sure you have a fan going. You could uses a big sponge. Maybe add a little Dawn or dish soap to the bleach. Let it sit for a while like an hour and wipe it down with a clean sponge.

Bleach will kill bugs and make sure you have ventilation. I know commercial fisherman spray their boats down with bleach because the fish blood and guts can have organisms and other nasties.

Another more experienced guy here uses 3 and 1 Safer mixed with a gallon of water and 1 oz of 90% or more isopropyl alcohol per gallon. I am not sure what the amount of Safer is - see directions. You may only need a half gallon or 32 oz spray. Adjust the mix accordingly. Be careful breathing with the alcohol.

Some people like Neem oil with a small amount of Dawn. If money is tight, get Canola oil at Wal Mart for 99 cents in the grocery aisle and mix with a little dawn in a sprayer. Not too much oil or Dawn. The downside with oils is they are a bit greasy. You have to wipe down again.

You can make CaliClean with hambanero peppers and spray it down with that. Be Careful with that too.

Washing things down with bleach works really good but it never hurts to bomb on top of that ....an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure........I like spraying an azamax neem combo with a lil dawn dish soap when I actually spray my plants .......and for future azamax says it can be sprayed all the way through harvest by itself but it's pricey .....but I always do prevention

It is an old time Calif recipe. Do a search for CaliClean hambenaro peppers. I think the google search will actually bring you back here. Someone, I think, posted it on here a few years ago. Some growers call it Pepper Spray for short. Here you go below. I bet 10 web sites have the recipe. I heard about it from an old timer. I have not tried it but he has been growing for 25 + years.

I think you can keep it in a sprayer bottle in the refrig for later if you make a bunch.

I tried a real cheapy on aphids which also works for mites with Canola oil and a little Dawn in a one gallon sprayer. Probably 3 to 4 table spoons of Canola oil ($0.99 cents for 16 oz at Wal Mart) and Dawn (0.99 cents at the dollar store or office depot).

Shake it up good, spray with the lights off. Wait about five hours and then spray with water. Another poster said use Neem oil (the good 100% Neem) and a few drops of Dawn. He thought I may have wrecks the plants stromata (pores) with Canola oil. It was okay. A famous Mite spray at the grow shops main ingredient is Canola oil.

Vegetable Oil
-Use a lightweight vegetable oil to kill slow moving and immobile sucking insects, spider mites and eggs.
-Mix 3 drops of oil spray per quart of water.
-Spray foliage until soaked. Discontinue use 2 weeks prior to harvest.
