Cali hash prices

Was curious what the going rate for a pound of hash is at dispensaries. Anyone got a range?
Dan,
I just brought a sample of some 90 micron dry sieve to a dispensary we work with and they are telling me $12/gram. I think they charge around $25-$30. I didn't get the Lb price offer, but he'll buy up to 100 grams at $12. Hope that helps.

If you check out my thread in my sig, the last 5 pages we've had a big discussion on hash making and selling. Some of the guys are pretty active in that arena. Maybe you can have a look and contact them directly for some better info. Be safe, my man.

Right on man. Thx.

12 sounds nice! I've let my trim back on me for over a year, so now I'm making ice extract every day. Haven't tried to vend hash in over a year and when I did I was only getting 8! But then it was in brick form and probably super annoying for the club to break down, so the low price was probably warranted. Now I'm doing it right. I'll check out your thread, thx for the response.

I hear ya on the hash brick. As we speak, my machinist is fabricating a die that will allow me to press 25 - 1 gram "pucks" in one press cycle. I'm hoping to walk in my fav club with a cute little wood box full of perfect 1 gram pucks ready for sale. They love that shit.

from my experience, and I've already successfully branded my ice water extract in dispensaries, they heavily prefer unpressed extracts

I tried that a while back. Had a really awkward moment at a dispensary that made me stop doing it. I weighed out each pellet individually just to make sure they were all 1.1. Brought them to the dispensary and the buyer pulled out his scale weighed a view of them and they were 0.9. He lectured me for trying to rip him off or sloppy weighing for like 10 minutes. Then I threw a dollar bill on his scale and it weighted 0.9. Awkward! He didn't say anything but I could tell he was embarrassed and as I walked out I saw him throw the scale in the trash. Haven't been back since.

After that I decided it wasn't worth the effort to press my hash into cute little stamped pellets.

9 to 15 per gram for ice water. 10 to 30 for solvents
How can I tell what mine is worth on that scale? I only use hash for grinding up and bombing buds with it, so I'm not sure I have a good enough handle to form a good assessment on how good it is. I'm doing a good amount of bulk right now so I'm thinking it might be worth it to get it tested in advance so I've got an idea about how good it is. Is that my only option or are there things buyers look for to assess how good it is?

melt is a big factor. smell is another. they want full melt with strong odor

Really good hash melts when heated to at least some degree. Some hash melts 100%. This is strain dependent after a level of purity. Wet hash also melts.

Here's some Chernobyl ice water extract aka ICE WAX. It is full melt.

Yeah, mine doesn't look like that at all. :(

not to be cocky, but no ones does. this is perfection. the combo of a great grow, great genetics for ice water extraction, turning a $3200 pound into $1000 of hash, and the purest extraction. check out my hash thread in the organic forum. breaking it up and getting it dry has been overlooked by many.

I like the dollar and nickle. Check it for one gram and five grams just because when they are off it tends to get worse as you weigh more. I've even brought 6 nickles with me (not to a club) to check for 30 grams.
