Camping!

oh yes oh yes it's that time of year again, the weather is finally good enough to be outside continuously.

Let this be the thread of general camping banter, anecdotes, nostalgia, excitement and anticipation.

Now, when i say camping i don't mean like your hard core proper wilderness hiking nature experience, i mean driving to the usual wild camping spot, walking a few hundred yards with our stuff, and sitting about drinking and smoking for a couple of days.

I'm off out next week and am currently collecting what's coming with me. So far we have the normal necessary stuff like tent, sleeping bag, fire stuff, clothes, tranja, multitool, anti midge stuff, food, trowel, blah blah.

then there's the hammock, poncho, massive bucket of ice and beers, NOS charges cracker and balloons, all relevant rolling materials, a gram or two, straw hat, frisbee, hakisac, camping chairs...oh and those flip flops with bottle openers in the soles.

missed anything? i can't wait!

i like to camp on the coast but it is such a bummer lugging sufficient beer and ice supplies through a mile or two of soft sand. so this year, i am going to install some ski's on a box and see if that slides easily over the sand. come to think of it, that might also solve my second biggest problem, namely strong winds that blow sand everywhere, especially the food. all i have to do is mount poles on 3 sides and slip some sort of a windbreaker over it.

great, now i am all excited and have to go to home depot.

ahh yes...its been about a year since ive been to a NACO park. i was blitzed off of crown and coors and there was a band playing and near the end of their set this lady (about 30) asks me to dance. they wrap up and so do we. seriously some of the best sex of my life from that cougar.

mmmm...cougar...i love camping simply, like a small tent..one cooler, no radio..fishing under a shade tree, smoking a joint, eating some ice cold water melon and watching the things happen that we live too fast to see...

man i thought most of the people here were couch potatos

luckily i live in a country were nature is at its best, i have friends everywhere and i visit many different environments not too far from each other.

personally my favorite place is anywhere in the mountain range, huge mountains in front of me simply make me see the world differently.

last time i went camping there was a big ass earthquake anyway xD

gads earthquake doesn't sound to good but i fully agree with the mountains. nothing like a view. we're heading to the loch so it'll be water in front, mountains behind, and mountains across the water.

...only a gram or 2.. i always take an oz camping. =)
don't worry man it's only a gram of 2 of powder, will be a whole lot more of weed coming with us!
