Can one smoke CBD and get the effect?

Smoking CBD for me just gives me a very mellow effect. It just really relaxes me and calms me down. Removes stress without that “I’m backed” feeling.

My landrace Iranians have 2-1 CBD/THC phenos and I enjoy puffing on them... i find it to be a clear high that feels good and when it fades off u dont feel assed out ... takes 10-15 min to kind of feel it at first..like a creeping high

No, CBD counteracts THC.
I dont think its this simple. CBD is an antipsychotic and thus removes some of the effects of THC, but it only removes aspects of it, but leaves other aspects there. CBD makes the high much more clear and almost feels as if it would take away THC, but if you examine closer, it leaves some of the effects of THC there intact, but just clears the head high and disoriented thinking etc. CBD hinders the psychedelic effects of THC.

I planted some Blue Dream CBD(15% THC and 15% CBD claimed) a couple weeks ago, but was told smoking CBD doesn't work like eating it.

Does smoking CBD work?
i heard a lot of wonky answers or maybe it was just personal experience and that can very quite a bit based on the strain and person.
at anyrate i was concerned about the same shit because i only have two plants thT are cbd-thc plants by breeding. even the sample popcorn hermie shit made my chronic hip pain go away by smoking it. i only take one pain related pill when i go donw stairs and that's because it's a pain component to my psych pill for depression.

much will depend on the breeding as to what ratios you will get. you can get 1-1, 2-1 both cbd or thc or cbd alone based on the breeding. hell i'm up on the shit now can function easily but some times forget shit but i'm glitchy now days anyway. i even took photos of hois expolaintiom for the strain i have so i could record it later. or i would forget. f2 and f3 were bred differently so have a different profile/ratio. original parents was mae cut of cannatonic for cbd content @22% and dudes pure thc strain @22% as well. i know this much the buds that are drying now will be stringer than the micro popcorn i tested from the hernies i caused with serious lght leaks. they were sneaky and i am rusty after almost 12 yrs away for growing to get something in jars now. testing october 1st. at 30 days cure and again at 60 and 80 days just for comparison sake so i can use o
it for reference.

now you also need to factor in when you chop a fully cbd plant cause you wamt to chop it earlier than usual. so the cbd is maximized as much as possible. did i do that with mine . HELL NO LOL, i wanted to test after normal flower time so i didn't chop early. i'll get to that in time though cause i'm going to be working with cbd-thc plants for real meds for quite awhile. smoking made it economical so i didn't have to go the rso/tincture route thank goodness. took me 15 yrs to find flower that worked but back then i didn't have prostate cancer back then. my back issue wasn't apparent nor did i connect the dots of my hip being an issue, though the signs were showing. smdh

u can pm me for the strain name etc. everyone is different though. many found that out when certain strains that folks used for certain maladies didn't work for them. they had to find a different cultivar that did. as usual the problem is we have limited access and can't test everything.

i'm not sure about the cbd %'s BDCBD advertises. i did a simple color test (Beam's test) on it next to blueberry and blueberry looked to have more cbd and it isn't even advertised as having much. though blueberry is awesome. i don't smoke much though so i can't answer your original question. just letting you know.
No suprise tho there cos ruderalis is still present in the genetic ancestry of blueberry even if its a photo strain so thats where the high cbd comes from there

Many Sativa landraces have naturally high levels of CBD as well.
Depends really many do many dont like say thai vs leb or morrocan those two will have cbd the thai wont theres obviously more than that plus the whole sativa vs indica cant be applied to all landraces either
