Can the purple leaves be a sign of a mold starting? She's 7½ weeks into flowering and the leaves have started turning purple fading.

Also, it is grown from a random seed we've collected over the years so we have no clue as to the strain.

Newbie here which I'm sure is obvious by our grow but we've learned a lot every step of the way so any helpful advise is appreciated.

Thanks. Love the purples. Genetics. Cold weather. Not sure exactly where it comes from, but it’s worked out for me. Lots of write ups on here regarding mould. Embrace the purpling, you start seeing grey, mush, webbing. Than worry bout mould.
Thank you for your encouraging words, the temp has dropped here the last couple of weeks or so and that's when the purple's started coming out...we had 2 sativas grown outdoors that started getting bud rot after 6 days of rain a week before harvest so after reading a lot of articles on bud rot I got a little worried about the purple on our indoor indica.
Thank you again!

Usually the color comes from dips in temp colder nights or cold grow rooms will bring out the colors a lot

Colder flowering times brings out colours or blacks
What a beauty she is....thank you, it has gotten colder here the last couple of weeks, even though shes an indoor grow, temps have been dropping at night and I haven't been switching to the heater to compensate. Its definitely not getting "cold" per say but definitely a drop at night.
