Will this work for a guerrilla cannabis grow in terms of getting in the ground fast and getting out? I have no desire to linger for security reasons. I have about a 3-mile drive on the highway to get to a point where several exits converge and make some choice areas. I try to find all areas facing south at the bottom of small hills for runoff to go to them.
So what do you think, I found this video of this guy who's out planting fruit trees in the wild right off a path that is used for trail walking. Well, I'm not about to gorilla grow anywhere like he's doing in location and path proximity, I did take note of things like plants or trees being green, even year-round here. I think he really is into planting where water will run down a hill with good sunlight etcetera.

The part I am asking about shows him using a cordless drill with a 3 inch auger bit on there that you used to plant bulbs and stuff in gardens. My plan is to adopt what he's doing to be able to get in and get out fast in an area where the soil is great which I have plenty of in this area. I am going to use either peat cups or find some biodegradable nursery starter bags and when I get to three node plants, or about 9” – 12”, and that may be a bit big, hit the trail and go put out four or five in each location in the manner that he's talking about, nowhere near the beaten track, and see if I can adapt this method to a gorilla cannabis grow. Here's a video
Off ramp 1.pngOff ramp 2.pngOff ramp 3.png and it's about 9 minutes long but I would never ask any of you all to view that. Just perhaps check out the beginning and even though it's right next to a trail I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the method of getting it in the ground fast. Be cool guys and gals especially you rock and female growers, you show us dudes what you can do!
Here is a highway site in mind.

Don't you own a shovel. I used a bulb planter once it works. Not as good as a shovel.
Of course but I could hide the other setup in a backpack and be less obvious. All my spots are urban forest, I guess I mean that I have to walk through my neighborhood to get there. Shovel and small pick was my first plan.

I guerrilla grew in maine for 20plus yrs,That drill would not work here but i love the spots you are thinking about I grew right along a lot of rds just gotta find the back door in. What about watering? Have you thought about swamp tubes a bitch to set up but no need to water all summer. An alot more sun than in the woods.

What i done back in the 90's is use hessian potato sacks, good soil and water crystals to hold water. Put them out the forest ready while the seedlings were establishing at home. Then it was just a matter of going out and dropping the seedlings in the prepared bags/dirt one night. It has the benefit of a big window you can still move them if needed before the roots get through the bag and anchored it to the ground.

And you can leave in the bag? Roots will propagate through that?

I can’t believe I’m saying this but autos might work for your situation. They aren’t gonna be looking for finished plants in the summer. It’s really hard to get away with growing outdoors where you are.

There are many ways to Gorilla grow. Spot selection is the most important factor. You need direct sun. The more the better. Select spots off the trail were people will have to make an effort to get to. I always look for red briar and multiflora rose where I grew. Get your plants in last week of May. This will time it with the rapid growth of the surrounding vegetation. That will cover you trails quickly. After inserting your plants you will have to come back to see how many were dug up or chewed on by animals two or three days later. I used a time release called osmocote 14 14 14. Water crystals help also they are called Terra sorb or now some use soil moist. I never watered as that was usually not feasible. Getting your plants in is the easy part. Before female seeds we would come back to pull males. Most plants will yield 1 to 4 ounces but have had a few get 8 or more over the years. This is without any extra care. I have had luck with this process but there were many failures with this method also. Get early flowering varieties so you can harvest before the vegetation starts to thin out and hunting season brings more people in the woods.

I might be in love with the idea. Have lots of that environment near me as I am on the coast and it gets hot and dry. can't return a lot and this just solved my biggest issue. Also gets the seedling and plants off the ground away from small grazers.

The one thing about spots like that , and I've done many , is getting in and out without being seen . I always had a partner for drop off and pick up . One person sees you and whips out a cellphone and it could get complicated .

Get in with a roll of fence, a shovel , plants and fertilizer . Come out empty handed . Shovels are cheap , fencing is advised . If it's a good spot you have a shovel and fence there for the next season .

Have an excuse for being in there ready to use when you come out empty handed . A place like that you could say you're looking for edible mushrooms . Up here those places are state property so it would likely be a trooper asking questions .
