Canadian Outdoor strain showing signs of hermie sexing at 5 weeks?

Hello everyone! First time poster here.

I am currently growing out 4 plants from some seeds that I got from a friend. There are two different Canadian Outdoor strains 2 of the plants are something purple and the other are something pine as far as he knows haha. The purples are are showing Indica the pine are showing hybrid phenos. I am growing them in a 4x2x5 tent under roughly 235 true watts of LED plus a 50W t5 veg light for extra spread temps and humidity have been really good throughout the grow staying around 72-77F between night and day and humidity between 40-50% RH

They are doing great, growing really strong and have had zero problems whatsoever throughout this grow. they've been under 20-4 lighting for the first 5 weeks (counted from when their leaves opened up) and have just switched to 18-6 a few days ago which I will slowly decrease until im at 12-12.

I am moving the lighting schedule because the plants have all begun to show signs of sex and one purple plant has popped long pistils and one was a confirmed male which I already removed from the tent.

HOWEVER the two Canadian Pines are showing sex completely differently from all of the other plants and even look different from each other

Here are pics of the strange hermie plant

The reason I think its a hermie is because there are two different sex shapes showing and some showing signs of both in one. I see a couple pollen sacs forming with a leaf underneath and then some simple calyx without any defined shape. On one of the nodes I seen a pollen sac on one side and on the other side a simple calyx? Early into week 5 I seen what looked like small white pistils poking out of one of these calyx sites however I can no longer see the pistils and it just looks like a calyx now. On another node site I seen what looked like a pollen sac with pistils underneath it however when I went to examine it I accidently brushed up against the pollen sac and it fell off like a little ball?

What do you guys think of this should I pull this plant or leave it for a while longer?

So yeah I guess I wasnt able to upload pictures because I was new to the site. But for anyone who read the post and was wondering about it, the plant was definitely something weird because it started showing much faster development of the male sex parts and the female looking ones never fully developed before I pulled it out of the tent. So he/shes dead.

Was this just a bagseed? If it was then it could have been a hermaphrodite that caused the seeds and pass the genes to the seeds you planted. Otherwise I've rarely had a hermie that early.

Usually they show up mid to end of the flower cycle as what looks like a banana growing out of a cola or a single pollen sac at a node.

These could be some bad genes and a real hermie but you may have just pulled it early. If its not in flower I just let it go till I'm completely sure. So long as you identify it, monitor it and it doesn't developed, open and pollenate everything theres no problem with it being there while in veg. When you see a real true male you will immediately know the difference.

What you describe sounds like a herm.

If you're still only at 18/6 you shouldn't be flowering yet but the plant can show its sex before then but 5 weeks from seed is quick.... unless these are autos.

You might be able to use the upload a file option after a few more posts and show us what it looked like.

I'm gonna guess these are auto. You shouldn't be showing pistols yet otherwise. Auto and hermie... gross. Your seeds are junk man.

I'm thinking bad genes and a real hermie it was definitely bulging to produce more balls around the base of the original ball. This was supposed to be a photoperiod outdoor strain that I was going to grow inside a tent on a short cycle which is working great for the rest of the girls in the tent BUT this may have been a mixed seed because one of the ones I threw in the water to pop was a seed from "a real good bag of weed we had one time"

Like I mentioned in the OP this plant looked much different then the other plants and now that the other girls have definitely shown their different phenotypes, one looking very piney, and the other looking beautifully dark and indica im thinking this was the bag seed!

hey it was still worth the experience!
