75% of the plant is loaded with trichs but still a ways to go,I got this from a friend and have been looking for info on how far to go in flower. March 5 is 8 weeks so i will let it bulk up and chop at 7.5 to 8 weeks. Tested bottom leaves were 9% CBD and have buds drying and curing to test further. Thanks for info All

Does the trichome rule apply for cbd plants? Any halfway decent cellphone cam should be able to get a closeup shot of the trichs. If you see any clear ones it’s not ready. Once they’re all milky and a few have started to turn amber then it’s time.

There's a lengthy thread on this at the AFN and it was concluded that it's best to harvest at the first sign of amber.

Canna DX it’s accurate to .03 thc as compared to the lab $1600.00 bucks not cheap
Does it accurately test CBD too? I found a lab that does THC:CBD testing for $60 and will be sending in a few samples as the crops come in to do some more accurate breeding for CBD plants mainly.

$1600 is a little out of my price range atm. :)

Yes i test both my candida now testing 9% cbd .34 thc
Sweet. If I ever start going a little commercial I'll have to invest in one of those.

Would be nice to know other than self-testing or giving it to my 'lab rats' so they can report back how it works for them.

Thanks.

It's amazing, I've always been inspired by people who have been able to grow marijuana at home. Your plants look great, I'm impressed. I tried several times to grow marijuana, but I never got it right and I gave it up. I never understood what I was doing wrong. Now, I just order both marijuana and CBD oil from an online store, which is of excellent quality by the way. I think in the future I will try to grow marijuana at home again. It would be cool if you would share with me a couple of tips on growing marijuana. I will be glad to receive any suggestions and advice.
