Candy cane Auto flowering question from a noob!

Hi. I’m very new to growing. I started some candy cane seeds from crop king seeds and it’s been 40 days since seed. I was wondering what you guys think of the growth. Being a noob I didn’t know that I wasn’t supposed to transplant AF to bigger pots. As it stunts the growth.
Little white pistils are showing. Does that mean that these have already started the flowering process? They are under 24/0 for light. Also how many grams should I expect from this plant?

Yes the pistils mean it's starting to flower, no one knows how much you will get from a picture, and apparently you should not run HPS lights at partial power because it wont provide the proper light spectrum.

This is a topped auto at day 36 today. Your strain seems to be a smaller auto, that or it was stunted/not enough light/nutes. It looks good in terms of health just not looking like a big plant. Also i have a 4 gal pot, small pot could be holding them back. If coco 3 gal/soil I'd use 5 gal pots.

Thanks man! Really appreciate the comment! I think I stunted it because I transplanted it 2 times.

I also light burnt them accidentally but somehow got them to look lively again. I’m hoping to get Atleast an ounce out of each one. Here’s to hoping! And nice plant you got there bud!

Actually, if you look in the auto section McStrats has a good documentation about transplanting autos with great success. You just need to do it sooner than 2 weeks. With such short veg it cant be done too late or itll stunt. You'll be ok though. An Oz. might be possible, depends on the plant genes itself and hiw you fifnish. Give good amount of light/nutes and don't chop till ready. Next round look for autos that genenticly grow taller and pot bigger. Im a Mephisto whore even on my first grow with them. Maybe look i to them for a test run of autos and bigger pots and you might find happiness. Keep us updated on the grow.

Okay man. A lot of this might just be common sense to most. I’ve read a lot about how to grow but this being my first grow its definitely a learning curve for me!
What is Mephisto? I’ll have to check it out. I’m gonna try a few different companies that sell seeds. Crop king is local so decided to go with them. I am currently growing one of their feminized white widow. Seems to be doing well so far!
Follow this thread and I’ll keep posting updates and maybe some more questions if you guys are willing to answer! Thanks!

Mephisto Genetics. Aruguably the top breeder for autos along Dinafem and maybe a notch below, Dutch Passion, Sweet Seeds and Fast Buds. Mephisto is based in Spain, but has shipping from US. West Coast i believe, but i got seed on East Coast in 4 days.

I'll guess 1 oz. and I'd like to suggest a 5 gal fabric pot next time. They breath and dry out much faster which is good for roots. Like what someone else here said is what we're doing is growing roots. Looks like you're doing fine in plastic whatever you're doing but I'm just saying consider it.

For sure! Next grow will be in fabric pots! Thanks!

Now you gonna take a guess how much I’m gonna get ?
Probably not much. I’m such a noob. Stunted her for a bit. She’s looking good again now though.
probably a half ounce, shes not horrible bro and weve all been noobs at 1 point, no shame in that.
every day counts with autos tho, so yea your yield wont be as good as it could have been had she been healthy all the way through but youve gained a bit of knowlege and some skills now so hopefully each run you get a little more weight each time.

Yeah for sure! We will see how much bud she grows. It’s not the worst ever. I’m happy it made it this far Atleast lol
Thanks. I have some autos growing outside. I think my mistake was putting it into a bigger pot which made it flower right away and kinda stunted her.

yup, you wanna avoid transplanting autos if possible. but you already know that now :bigjoint:
