Cannabis Terminal Velocity

I get woozy just thinking of what to do for and/or to my plants next. Aminos? Azomite? Yucca? Humic acids? I would love to do all of them but at what point am I just putting a hat on a hat? If you throw every expensive bio-stimulant at it, does that result in better produce? Probably not huh? There has to be a “terminal velocity” for plant growth right? Don’t have the money anyway. Now, I got the OCD real bad. I’m sad to say that it really affects my mental health to the point of self mutilation. The cannabis helps me very much. I’m telling you guys this because I’m just looking for peace of mind while producing my own medicine and salsa veggies. I live in a small town with no other growers I know of that is 100 miles from the nearest dispensary or hydro store. I make good compost and recently made biochar. I use Great White Myco and Foxfarm Big Bloom on Auto Platinum OG, Auto Purple Voodoo and Reg Black Domina in soil containers, fem Jack the Ripper in the garden soil. I would like to add a foliar spray for bloom/micronutrients because of the high daytime temps. What do you guys think I should throw in my game for soil application and/or foliar spray? Thanks friends, it’s hard to acknowledge my OCD in a public forum.

I bet there are a bunch of growers, you just don't know about them because they are doing what they are supposed to do lol

I use Mykos during transplant, Azos during veg, and Great White the entire cycle. Working for me so why change?

And you can say about anything here, as long as you can put up with a few giant douchebags, most are pretty cool

These plants were grown in good organic soil (30$ a bag) blended specifically for weed. I top dressed them with organic bloom dry amendment 2 times, once at the start of flower, and once a few weeks into flower. Quality was pretty damn good. Better than what the rec shops by me have. Overthinking things and going crazy with nutrients is where a lot of people end up doing more harm than good.

You're thinking right about adding amendments, at some point there is enough "stuff" as long as your plants are able to get nutrients, being healthy, and get you a harvest. Adding something beyond that point, probably won't affect quality or yield of flower. But, it sounds like you want to be organic, and perhaps the most benefit of the "non-plant food" amendments is to keep the soil biology alive and thriving with bacteria and fungus. Not that the plants won't take what they need from that...

You don't need any of those things but out of all 4 humic acid would be the one to get. And not in some fancy bottle with lightning bolts on the side. Get a pound of water soluble humic/fulvic acid for $15.

You seem to be going down the path of more products = more yield. That's not the case. Some of the best growers on this site are killing it with simplicity. No problems, no deficiencies, healthy plants from start to finish. Then flip that scenario around and there are growers using a dozen different products having nothing but problems.

Be peaceful.
Be happy.

You use soil? any GOOD soil worth it's salt will have those and you don't need more.

However, Like xtsho. I do like adding (but only a cpl of times at the start and at the flip) BioAg FUL HUMIX (as directed on the package)
$12.99 off Ebay - 300grams

Thank you very much. I sincerely appreciate the help. This has been a really positive experience and a relief to know good peoples are right here with valuable knowledge. I don’t participate in any kind of social media and this is the first time I have ever gone on a forum like this. I’m happy I get to “meet” new friends.

Buy bulk bags of fertilizer like alfalfa, wheat bran, diatamaceous earth at the feed stores for way less than cartoon bottles. Egg shells powdered, lab serum you can make for $3, etc etc. I think I pay about $0.50/lb max for most fertilizers and some this summer for free like dandelion, borage etc.

The secret to happy personal growing is quality, turning away from plant fiber growth and focusing on metabolite growth. Would you rather have a twig with a water balloon of resin? (my dream) or a tree with zero resin? Plants fed microbe metabolites have increased Cannabis metabolites. You can theoretically grown in the same soil indefinitely without fertilizers if you have optimal microbial populations. Lactic acid bacteria is a must for quality. You'll spend practically nothing on fertilizer when you get the soil situated, compared to hydro which is a con against human health and human wallet.

wow I didn't realize growing organically defied the law of conservation of mass.

I was able to visit a tree nursery today! Member that I’m about 90 miles from the nearest one. I asked for granular humic acids and they said they did not have any at that location. So, I’m picking up kelp meal, Mykos and a couple new succulents and I have to turn over every bottle, bag or container to read ingredients. I see Natural Guard soil activator, flip it over and boom! 36% humic acid granulated. Thanks to you crew, I knew what wanted and I got it. No endless debate in my head between this and that, trying to make a decision for two hours holding up products, doing calculations, gnawing on my fingers until it bleeds. I feel good because I had direction from this thread. Thank you all again! I’m very grateful to have your help. Now, I even get to read myself blind about lactic acid and chitin and nerd out with my bird out! Sorry, I don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean. I’m just excited. Thank you again and Baba Booey to y’all!
