would you in your opinion say that the louis offered some qualified OG leaning options in these variations? Or any expressions occurring in those variations resembling what you have experienced louis to be prior to this?

Ya know, I wasn't too impressed with the effect from any of the pure louis. Some had og looks/smell, kinda, but not amazingly so. One of the purple ones was the rankest, foulest, loudest smelling plant i've ever come across though. Too bad none of it translated into effect. I ended up liking some of those great apes more (better effect, better nose imo), but none were potent enough to be keepers.

As far as comparing to the clone only louis to these s1's... no comparison. The clone only is some of the best og and smoke i've tried. None of the s1's were even close in that regard.

Got some Ghost & Irene OG S1 in veg now. Ghost grows & clones fast AF!!! Still looking for the Irene S1 pheno I used to have, you can smell that perfume scent when you rub the stem. One I have now doesnt smell but we'll see what she does in flower.

Just chopped an Irene today and the fragrance is very unique(perfumey) and loud. I've never smoked Irene before. Also brought down a Triangle. Shit looks dank.

Yep that's that Irene smell! I grew an Irene cross last time from CSI & it smelled lemony. I was disappointed because as you can smell it's nothing lemon in Irene OG at least that I can smell, it's just not like the other OG's. Cant wait until you smoke her! The keeper I had made some fire seeds as well. I dont know how but I lost those seeds so hunting for another Irene keeper. I've got a few beans of the TK as freebie.

I have to agree with what said MtRainDog said about the Louis S1's is was really shiny with resin, loud terps but weak potency. I was even coming off a month tolerance break to smoke on the new years. Swear I didnt even get high, was very disappointing. It only got better after a year of sitting in a jar but it hits the same as some cbd bud now.

Csi doesn't have a irene s1 so what you smoked was a cross of irene with something else. So it's fair to say you did not get a irene smell. Probably lemon party Orr lemon tree.

To address the lurker above, I guess CSI does have a Irene S1 lol! Also it was Irene x Xmas Bud regulars that I grew now a Lemon Tree or Lemon Party cross. It hermied something crazy as well, didnt seem to drop any pollen though.

Irene S1 at 44 days, second run of her & it is dank but I like the Ghost S1's better. Will decide after this run & another of the Ghost. Sorry for photo quality, she is greasy & fattens up nicely towards end of flower within 70 days.
