CBD Isolate is non-psychoactive so not sure how one quantifies their tolerance to CBD. I've never really noticed any effects at all from consuming CBD Isolate in any form....vape, tincture, dab, etc.

I definitely get noticable effects from cbd in high doses. It's super mello, but it's there. To me it always feels like a really really small dose of some couchlock buds. I use it for stress relief, or to mellow me out if I get way too high off of some racy pot. Wouldn't describe it as a high, more like a body buzz.

I spoke to my doctor and my marijuana consumption pretty much negates CBD due to tolerance build-up

That's unusual, CBD is famous for not building up any tolerance. What's your dose?

Cannabis opens the door for cb1 receptors and for cannabinoids to enter your blood brain barrier. THC is buffered by CBD and you don't get as stoned and you can actually enjoy the effects. Misunderstood what the doctor said most likely is what happened. CBN gives you the pain killing couchlock that people think CBD does. The ratios of cannabinoids to THC will be based on desired effects and what symptoms you are treating. Cannabinoids work better with THC even the amount in your system plays a major role in effectiveness.
