Does anyone know anyone using cbg for gglachoma- I found out I have it a while ago now - but since then my sight has got worse not better - I'm using cannabis edibles for it at the minute along with the drops from hospital.I would really like to just use cannabis because of the side effects from drops.I read one day that cbg is the best cannabanoid for this next day its saying its not and cbd can make it worse - I've been taking cbd through the day edibles purple orange cbd and blackberry kush cbd - got me thinking is this reason my eyes seem worse through the cbd - don't really wanna commit to a cbg garden if it aint going to work - just after advice really would you continue taking thc edibles ,my eye pressure has been pretty good since using both so hospital say there not looking through my eyes they have got bad vision is Terrible

It's the THC you want. Further the limitations for using that as a primary treatment for reduction of intraocular pressure is the necessity to smoke it every 4 hours around the clock. For the moment cannabis as a primary treatment requires more investigation and a longer effective window. Listen to your ophthalmologist and take your eye drops also ask if a trabeculectomy might be a viable alternative for you.

This is a good basic article:

I've been eating edibles every 6 hour - I have been having test done all time I went using drops alone ,they send all my eyes black and give me headache .Then I read about cannabis treatment with glachoma- and started using edibles the eye surgeon was gob smacked at the results to the point first time ever in uk I've been told by surgeon and another doctor continue doing what your doing its working - but then I read that research into cbd and glachoma had no effect where has cbg is the best cannabanoid for it its the best for high blood pressure of any kind. But thanks for up load - I'm listening and will continue with just thc - but I would like to try cbg through day - I'm constantly stoned - not a good thing in my opinion I will always eat it for medical reasons smoking it takes away any good with it containing twice has much tar has tabbacco

I suggest to use a low THC product like hemp or a strain that is around 5-7% THC range. A low dose will give you the effects you want without side effects. Edibles are good for this, also topical, and smoke smoking products.

I started my wife on RSO for tumours on her liver. She had been being tested for glaucoma for years already and her pressure in both eyes was in the mid 20s so drops were next. She'd been on the RSO for about 6 months when we both went in for eye exams. Her pressures were both around 17. Mine were better but I've used pot for 50 years so why not. :)

She has not been taking it much for quite a while so I wonder what the next test will show.

That's just regular THC pot from many strains with no CBD in it. Some of the pot was 5 or more years old so maybe had broken down into other stuff by the time I made the oil. 115g batch and almost gone mostly to friends in need.

:peace:

Mode of administration does alter bioavailability. So edibles give you longer coverage. So specificity of your exact situation helps. I'm glad you're experiencing a positive effect and if your ophthalmologist will work with you I'd encourage you to continue.

THC so far appears to help the most with pain, glaucoma, cancer, epilepsy, et. al., so I'd stick with full spectrum.

That being said you can buy CBG. I buy my dog's CBD isolate from here:

They have a great veteran's discount. Not sure where you're located so you may have to google some but I'd buy some to try. I wish you the best of luck in dealing with this.

I've been using blackberry kush 18% cbd adding cbg to that - it comes with lab report from Spain at 17 .5 % cbg for day time smoking that - and at night hitting the chocolate edibles. This is the type of material I use for the butter jack herer or northern lights seem to work best (picture jack herer)20221127_184200.jpg
