Hi growers,

I would like to change my light schedule from lights on during the day to lights on during the night (because of the temperature). What is the best way to do it? I was looking for this and found only 6 years old threads, so maybe now there will be more enlighted growers who can answer it without no doubdt...? Thanks to all.

Change them. If in flower run dark until you reach the time change then turn on and adjust your light schedule

That is what I thought at first. It seems to be logical untill one of the founders of uk420 wrote down: the exactly 12 hours of interrupted dark is crucial so do not mess with it in any case!!! Is it more important for flowering than the lights on period. He would do it completely opposite way: give them 24 hours light, they do not even notice that is something happening and also use the “more” energy for budding. And since I have read this, the first “logical” thing completely becomes not so good. But this was said years ago....

If they are in flower extend the dark period. Let say you run dark 8 pm 8am. And want to change this schedule when the lights are off leave them off 24 hours 8 pm to 8 pm them start your lights on 8 pm to 8 am. Lights off 8 am to 8pm or what ever time you what to run the lights.

So you disagree with not interrupting the dark period?
