Cheap led grow lights

That is nonsense. 100w is 100w.
It is true you need less with good led per square ft, but they arent that much better. No 400w led is equivalent to 3000w anything.

All garbage. Check out the led section here for some good recommendations
The reason this is not non-sense is because wattage actually means nothing to plants. The reason wattage matters is because plants actually grow according to the lumen value of the light and the spectrum. LED lights are able to create the same amount of lumens on a potentially fuller spectrum with less wattage pull from the outlet. This is because the light diodes are so concentrated. This is also the reason why the lights have less penetration.

Please take your narcissistic, better-than-thou opinions to the politics section, or a different site.

More nonsense. My leds have good penetration.
Amount of watts are important. Granted leds have better efficiency, but there is no 100w led that can match a 1000w hid.
Around 35w per square foot for good led is a decent baseline, as opposed to 50w per square foot for hid.

Well. I didn’t claim those ridiculous numbers. But I have a 600 watt light that pulls 250 I think from the outlet and when I test the lumens value it’s around the same value as a 600 watt light.

I'm a nationalist, it can not be narcissistic, can you define narcissistic, look it up its a mental disorder. Are you making a diagnosis Dr. right here on a pot grow forum.

the second website makes a very good point. Watts is the measure of electricity used. Not how much light is created. Watts cannot be converted to lumens which is the measure of how much light there is. We have just known that with traditional light there were certain values. LED’s don’t follow those same rules.

If you have your lights in a tent with reflective siding then it will seem as if your lights have better penetration than they do because led bounces off of reflective surfaces particularly well

Great, info HLG has some great prices on those. They have reg. MH for 80 US Dollars with custom General Electric bulbs, but I bet not digital just magnetic which have been reported as way less efficient. Nevertheless they are perfect for starters with supplement LED, even with burples. I watched a video tonight of the largest grower in the states, all the lights were LED panels about 3 to 4 Ft above the canopy and those lights were dim, they would auto adjust to the plants bio needs. Hydroponic grown mist with huge buds looked like over 12 inches. Biggest seller was tha S Afracan Sativa.
