Obsessively scoured this forum and others for roughly 5 months before starting my first grow (thanks to everyone for all your input who made my first grow which is a mix of autos and photoperiod perpetual a breeze.) And figured I would try and give back to the community.
I found that you can cut the bottoms off of Pudding cups in place of net pots (needless to say I gave my kids a TON of pudding...win win. They are about $3 for a twelve pack at walmart. These fit 2 inch clone collars perfectly. Also if you do lst you can buy keadic brand twist tye 350 yards off amazon for $10.99 and it works just as good as the more expensive twist tye spools made for gardening. I kept an old spool with the press down cutter and attached it to the top of the craft twist tye spool with a large bolt and a wing nut. It was $5 cheaper to buy 350 yards than the 100 yards that came on the gardening twist tye spool.
I also used megacrop all in one fertilizer which is a super cheap all in one. Been using it on 10 different strains and the only one that has had anything negative is pyramid seeds white widow one out of two got some nute burn. I bought a sample 1.1 lb for around $13 that I'm using on 10 plants and looks like it will be enough to finish them all...if not I already bought the 20+ lb bag for $86. Just gotta watch the nitrogen pellets as humidity makes them stick together over time and you need to eyeball it when mixing to avoid too much nitrogen. When I open my 20 lb I will take out what I need for a month in the future while vacuum sealing the rest for storage with silica packs. I hope this can be helpful to someone, sorry I rambled a little off topic from diy...first post hope it helps people save money.

Also with RO water and megacrop between 4 and 6.5 grams per gallon I stopped checking ph as it always came in between 5.89-6.23 stuff is too easy. I'm growing in hempy buckets and take the runoff outide and use it on my tomatos, cucumbers and cantelope and it is working great. Cherry tomatoes are almost as big around as a fifty cent piece and taste great.
