im sorry dude that's over my head
Translation. If you are sterilising your hydro solution with peroxide or ozone, you kill the beneficials. = zero benefit.

Don't know if any rollitup members have tried to impliment a living hydro system populated with beneficials.
I have seen aquaponic gardeners do interesting things with worms in flood drain systems. Think they also control excess nitrates from the fish with filtration beds that populate with some kind of organism/bacteria. But that is a closed loop system with fish and plants.

The beauty of hydro is fast positive growth. Usually very easy to run, except at temperature extremes. If you are interested in organic growing using hydro methods, you would have to figure out a healthy system setup with the right grow media. Possibly easy for things to go out of balance.

Maybe consider moving to soil. There are great organic soil threads on rollitup.

Hey, thanks end of tunnel, im not interest in organic growing.... im hoping back in the grow game after 10 year hiatus or so.. im trying to find the best nutrient system possible for me to go with and a lot has changed.. lol

Im going to run a 27 gallon tub system w approx 10 gallons of water. I m going to run the chem grow system of nuits... I been told by a few friends I need to grab some recharge ( I don't think I can run this thru my system but I could foliar spray a little if I needed to right?.... another one I know for fact runs a hydro system was all about great white....

This bacteria stuff wasn't around decade ago... So I guess im asking how would u supplement your hydro units system w bennies.. or do u not want to do that at all? and what the difference between these products?

Thanks Creighton
