Chopped Plant and had to Chop Roots - Danger from Debris?

My grow is 4 Gorilla Glue autos in an RDWC 35 gallon res (29 gals nutes). Only one of the plants was ready to harvest, the others being at least two weeks out. The roots for the plant I harvested had grown into the roots for another plant and, try as I might, I couldn't get them untangled so I had to cut the roots off to get the plant out of the res. That means that I've got dead roots in the res.
I'm using HydroGuard and the res is at a constant 68°F so I'm hoping that will ward of any issues but hope is not a strategy. What issues could arise and what steps should I take, if any, to deal with them?

It's not ideal but I think you're safe. How much longer until all the plants are chopped? It'd take some time for the dead roots to rot and you're likely gonna be done by then.

One plant at week, two others at 2 weeks.

It's been about a week since I cut the roots and the res has been acting pretty much the same way it was prior to harvesting Joe. The water in the res is clear, the roots have good color, and there's no funky odor.

I was planning on not swapping the res this week. It's a 35 gallon res that uses 28 gals o fnutes for just three plants so I've been waiting 10 days to 2 weeks between res swaps. Since Joe "left the building" and a lot of his roots didn't, it's probably wise to do a new res. I was planning on setting up my new MacBook Air but duty calls!
