Chronic cough

Hello! I'm new to this forum but thought it was a good place to get some valuable information from people who may have experienced similar issues, I have been smoking bud for close to a year now consistently and recently I've noticed that I have developed a rather annoying cough w phlegm, I unfortunately do not have the money or resources to get other forms of weed like edibles but also do not wish to stop smoking. What do you advice I do? And do you believe this is caused directly by smoking even though I haven't been smoking for that long? Thanks in advance!

Go see a doctor ... who cares if he asks about cannabis use. Maybe bronchiole issue.
Besides you can make your “ own “ edibles from your grows .... tinctures ( tongue drops ) , hard candy , cookies , etc.

Are you getting your bud from a reliable place? Could it be moldy or sprayed with something you shouldnt be smoking?
I am an asthmatic and smoke at least an oz a week for the last several years and my lung function has improved. Though thats mostly from quitting cigarettes I think. I got bronchitis at least twice a year while I was smoking cigarettes and havent had it since.
The only issues ive had since were times I smoked a lot of really fresh uncured bud. It hurts my chest and makes me hack a lot more.

Do cardio, even if it’s just 30 minutes low intensity 3-5 times a week. Don’t smoke cigarettes or drink soda. Drink more water. I had post nasal drip like a mfer for like 6 years until I finally quit cigarettes and soda. Cardio helped rid me of it.
