CHS is real, but rare...

They are pushing this out of control in Aus. If you mention that you have smoked at any time of your life, and you are currently vomiting, they will claim its CHS. They won't believe you when your like "I haven't smoked for like 7 weeks". They won't even drug test you to check, they will just jump to conclusions. "oh, your vomiting and you have smoked weed, you have CHS" (even though its been months since i smoked)

I came in with a temp of 105f, massive cramps, vomiting blood and stomach acid and in clinical shock with blood pressure of 90\40 and HR of 117. As soon as I stated that I smoke on and off, they just went straight for the CHS diagnosis, treated me like shit and sent me home. They stated the BP/heart rate was from a panic attack from weed (again, it had been 7 weeks since i smoked)

The next day I went into sepsis, and had to spend five days in ICU. I even tried to explain the day before that I was on Colchicine, nurofen, Bisoprolol and prednisone for viral pericarditis and possibly have a ruptured ulcer from all the NSAIDS, but they were so hell bent on pushing CHS propaganda that they wouldn't listen to anything i said, and it nearly killed me. What a surprise, It was a ruptured ulcer, a big infection in my intestines and my kidney was shutting down.

All because they are hell bent on pushing this CHS propaganda and wouldn't do a quick piss test to see if i had any THC in my system. When they did and I came back negative, I got no apology, nothing.

I had this as a teenager and it quit ironically at 21-25, when you are most suitable to start using (if you can) Not the actual chs, but the typical rise in teens going to ER for daily nausa and vomiting from daily use. I think it is giving weed a bad rep because it is just abuse for such a developing state still.

the weed kids are getting now is a lot stronger than it was back when i was a kid. the mexican brick weed we were getting was probably 3 or 4%, you would occasionally get some nice stuff in that hadn't been smashed into something harder than a hockey puck, and didn't smell like hay, that might have been 6 or 7% and that just fucked us up. if we had been smoking weed daily that was upwards of 20%, doing dabs every night, and eating edibles in between, i'm pretty sure the problem would have presented itself a lot earlier than it did.

I do all that now with no issues lol I have always thought millenials are capable of adapting to that unlike people from the last generation and on, parents always say this with concern but us young ones were born into that, to where we look at the weed back in the day to be rediculously weak and bunky lol.
