Circle LST help!?

I am running into a few problems and I feel like I’m either doing really good or I’m setting myself up to fail. I need more experienced eyes to maybe help guide me and drop some opinions and tips about my grow. My plant is currently in its 5 week of life (33 days old). I have been giving my plant nutrients and watering with distilled water @6.5 PH whenever the soil is dry. I waited to like 5-6 nodes to top and then began to LST my plant by bending its main stem as close to 90° as possible. Furthermore, i have been trying to maintain a level canopy as well I defoliated for the first time. Things seem to be going great I suppose. But I’m having problems LST, as I’m really trying to obtain a circle of growth around my pot with the LST. Here are my problems and concerns...
1.) creating that circle seems to be difficult. Where I topped my plant and two main stems formed is where I’m trying to bend those in opposite directions to circle around the pot. However, I have not really gotten growth to do this. Is this amount of growth normal for the plants age? Should there be more? Should there be less?
2.) super concerned my plant is way to short, I’m afraid since I topped it I have not really seen a lot of vertical growth (however I have been LST and keeping and even canopy). regardless to that I have my ScrOg net set up 8” about my medium, when should my plant reach this net? Lol will it ever? I am in no rush I do not mind vegging longer if need be. I just really want to do this right.
below are some photos of my plant I included a photo of right before I topped it and other to show where my net is and how the plant has progressed so far since LST began. Furthermore, I have teo zkittlez there in the back that I’m growing and I’m wondering if it’s to early to start really LST them ??A86B136D-48FC-4C7D-953C-A3756C0EF325.jpeg

From what i read there you are in soil and giving nutes every time you water.

If that is in fact the case you are over doing it. Water one cycle feed the next. Water once cycle feed the next.

Feeding everytime can and will cause issues.

Well, the pots are large for the size/age of the plant. I start my LST in a 1 quart pot. I use wire thru holes in the edge of the pot, and then use pipe cleaners to attach to the stems. Pipe cleaners will allow the stem to grow and won't strangle the stem like plain wire will.

These are the same plants just 10 days later:

I like to alternate between topping and FIM'ming, and just keep tying down the new growth.

This is one of the same plants after growing 41 days and transplanting to 3 gallon fabric:

Here you can see the growth of the stems after training (sorry a little blurry):

Here they are in the tent, you can see my trellis hanging in the back:

I won't pull the trellis down until they stretch above it.

Update
I have changed our the plastic ties and used metal wiring to secure and separate every branch growth. Above is an image of the results. I am hoping to snake my growth over to the left side and then begin to focus on vertical growth. This will extend my veg time. However, I am in no rush.

I have been watering with water and then waiting around 2 days to give him nutrients and then following it back up with water in around another two days. Is this appropriate?

Yes. It sounded like you were giving nutes every watering. But timeline might be off. It depends on multiple factors on when its time to water again.

When you use Squat pots or very wide/large pots then you will normally not see a bunch of vertical growth and see more horizontal growth at first, once the roots establish the plant will start to reach up. This is very normal. 33 days veg is good. I did a "circle" which we named the Twista! Turned out good ended up yielding 11 ounces and alll that I did was drilled holes in the top lip of the container and ran training wire from the holes up tot he branches to pull them down, then I curved the branches around the pot and tied down again. Worked out pretty good and in mid-bloom I released the ties and it held shape quite well actually.

I wanna say that the veg time on this puppy was a healthy 60 days (2 months) before I flipped it into flower.

The plant ended up getting about 6 feet tall which is just a few inches over my height goal but she really chucked colas. I'm a freestyle trainer when it comes to my cannabis plants. Now I really just top the plants, transplant, top again, grow where I want them, stake the branches to open up the plant and then send them on their way. Less strategic & calculated about it as I literally do not have the time to be..

Hey, the plants look great, but I would be careful about vegging for another month. I just did that, about 3 months in veg, and it was a total disaster, way too much growth wasted trimming off the excess, I'll never do that again. FWIW YMMV.

Do you think those plants look good to go into flower? I’m trying to get at least 12 oz a plant
Maybe another week in veg, they look great and yes I would flip soon. You also have to consider the height in your tent and how tall the plants will get after they stretch, they will nearly double in height and you need at least 24" from the top of the canopy to the light or the light will be too close.

You can see below the plants I had that I vegged for too long, this pic was right before I flipped. I had to trim off so much undergrowth it was a total waste of time.

The first thing to aim for is just a successful harvest and not total yield for your first grow.

I'd definitely flip those now. The stretch in flower can be shocking. Expect them to double or triple in size. Good luck

That is what I ended up finding out is it wasn't really worth the training. This type of training would be great for someone that takes clones early and is doing say a perpetual grow where they need to be moving plants out the day or two after they harvest. I enjoy the training because it makes the plants veg another 4-5 weeks giving me plenty of time to bloom out my other plants and then have viable replacements.

Personally I've switched to just topping @ 3rd node and letting them grow up into a scrog after lolipopping them removing all sub-nodes below the tops all the way up to the tips while leaving behind any healthy & uncrowded fan leaves.

Result is explosive and extremely low maintenance.

No. But, time doesn't matter. What matters is how much space you have left in your grow area. They will get big. You still need to have space for distance between the lights and canopy. It all depends on how much vertical space you have left.
True this, the plants are going to almost always double in size once flipped into flower during their first 3-4 weeks into 12/12. They can get TALL!
