Cloning question

You ever clone in flower on purpose?
Since I acquired too many mom's to run all at once, I've been playing round with my methods.
Sometimes I have a long time to produce clones. Many more weeks than I need.
So, what I have started to do is this:
I take clones during the second week or so of flower. Well after beginning bud development.
I take the clone and put it under 24 hours of fluorescent light.
It takes a LOT longer than normal clones, but I am left with a plant that will branch ridiculously.
I can start such a plant off with many more initial branches for SCROG grows.

Maybe this is a practice folks have been using and I didn't notice.
What do you think? It's been very effective for me, increasing yields considerably.

It works, because the nodes are crammed together in buds.
When you put them back in Veg the nodes elongate and produce branches.
To me it was common sense once I slowed down enough to consider it. :)

I love it personally. Gives you a lot more sites time flip. It’s not just a noticeable difference. It’s a huge difference in yield. However. The only con is you need to manage all the growth in the very beginning to make sure you don’t have a pain in the ass with 50% larf. Plus I love the extra boost for smaller plants giving a decent yield.

Nugs are solid top to bottom.

It doesn't grow into anything exciting.

I got to get outta the grow room more.
You get stuck in the same routine, nose down, doing the work.
My state just went legal this month, so I imagine I will be meeting more fellow growers as time goes by.
Maybe join in more conversations.
Gave myself a damn Master's degree in soil science and no one to share it with. :)
Good to see you folks are out here slogging too.

My re vegged garden pretty much impressed the hell outta me. I thought I was screwed but actually turned out impressive IMO. Not that I’ll be doing this intentional anytime soon But I now understand monster cropping completely. And with the right Strains can increase yields dramatically if done right
