Clowning with Jacks 321

The Flora Pro. May not be available for retail sales. Or only in 25lb bags.
The size of our next grow will be 100x 5 gallon buckets. The Dry version seems like the more economical route for us. Should we assume that the FloraPro is just the dry version of their liquid nutes? Or are they very different?

How are you running your jacks nowadays? I got the mc two part but running it basically like jacks 321, and using plant prods finisher for the last 3 weeks. Following MCs feed chart gives me nitrogen tox few weeks from harvest.

Still use jacks, but I'm shutdown for the summer.

I'm still learning about what ratios of NPK to run. Planning to keep it simple.

Hey Tint, just read a few of your posts about nutes, most of it I do not totally grasp, lots of interesting stuff and I’m learning alot about nutes recently. I’m planning on running Jack’s for the first time and this is the recipe I came up with for flowering. It’s basically 3-2-1 with small changes. Would you think this is an optimal recipe? Thanks for your info, pleasure reading you.

I am willing to look over the recipes....

But only if you can give me everything in ml/gr per Gallon.

Thanks for the ml/gr.

Just laying out the breakdowns...
My spreadsheet view of the recipes.

Canope-mixes.png

I diddled this to reverse calc your NPK % ratio for weeks 1-5. Almost the same for all weeks.

1:36 - 1 - 2.41

Compare and contrasting the NPK numbers - here Greenleafs 2part feed schedule. (Mega Crop 2part is virtually identical to 5-12-26)

This fall, I'm planning to run different NPK % ratios for the different growth phases. Need more experience.

Sweet man thanks. In your opinion this is a solid recipe, nothing to add?
It's clean and simple. Which is great. No need to create problems with a dozen nute ingredients.
I've used booster in the past - you know, to make donkey donks - burned my chit up with excessive K - so I don't do dat no more. lol

You might want to revisit numbers for the Mg/Ca ratio. I like to keep Mg about half of Ca.
Excessive Mg can F with Ca uptake.

As always - PH is important for proper uptake.

Ok I'll consider and see if I have the balls to tweak the recipe to get that cal/mag ratio. In your opinion is that recipe better than the Florapro? I'm a total newb at nutrients and I feel like a dummy paying top dollar for Remo even tho I get nice results

Ideally, you would be able to compare the breakdown of Remo to Jacks.

That way you would see the differences between the two.

Few use Florapro? I like using mainstream nutes. That way I have people to mimmick, and people to help me when needed.

And I've effed myself by using excess Ca when I had Ca/Mg defs. Too much Ca - and it locked out my K. Flip-flop defs. Doh coco. Lol
