I'm using botanicare nutrients, calmag, grow, karma, epsom salt in the second week. Looking for recommendations on any other nutrients I could use in veg.

Less is More!

I don't use Botanicare, use Canna, but add your Cal/Mag and Epsom first, use 33 to 40% of base nutes depending on what stage growth your in, then add whatever else you might add.
For example, as I said I run Canna, in week 3 of 12/12 an the Canna Grow Guide called for 237ml base nutes and I used just over 40% or 97ml. All fert companies rates are way too high.

If your not using enzymes you should consider, along with Great White for you roots, works wonderful.

Remember Less is More!

Good luck on your grow.

Could always add silica, but you seem to be fine with what you're doing so far...

I've ran Canna A&B a few times and I have only positive things to say. I prefer Canna coco over all others mostly because of their high QC and consistent results.

Nowadays I run Jacks 321 full strength from start to finish, been doing it a little over two years now. I'm really have with the results, so my personal opinion is Jacks.

I generally keep the 321 ratio all the way through from seed to harvest. I've tinkered with bumping the epsom salt from 1 - 1.5, but otherwise no other changes.

Silica is legit. I use it to bump up the PH in my reservoir as needed, and also add it to any foliar spray at 1-2ML per gallon. If you have everything else dialed in, buy a 10$bottle of silica next time you need to pickup PH up.

This will give you a very close approximation of the Lucas formula. I feel the extra P and K in veg is especially useful in young plants. Real heavy feeding plants may benefit from MaxiGrow which is their veg formula.

They should put a cartoon character on the bag... Would double sales and put the water peddlers out of Business.DWZmZlkW0AAqnwU.jpg

How? I’ve tried at full strength and burned the fuck out of my little plants. Dtw Canna bricks I rehydrated and killed some seedlings.

Try rehydrating with just water....you don't really need to feed seedlings at least until their fully rooted.

Do you guys subtract your tap water ppm from your overall ppm? so tap is 200ppm and your overall after nutes 1200 so 1000ppm added?

Some do and some don't....if your tap water ppms are on the low side already I wouldn't worry about it. Worst case your doing a light feeding... that's always better than a heavy feeding. Keep them girls wanting more!
