Conservative's thoughts on the 45th President

I’ve stopped (mostly) telling people I’m at heart and at root a conservative...I’m just an Eisenhower-era conservative which is completely different from the creatures who pass ass “conservative” these days.
I don't know how a principled right leaning conservative can vote for Trump. There must be a lot of people like that out there. I just hope they don't buy Trump's line about "it's either me or Biden the communist".

The state of the popular mind has been deliberately ground down, IMO...deliberately. Between the “moral majority”, Roe v Wade, and the Powell memo, the roadmap is fairly clear....

There certainly is a lot of chaff thrown out to confuse us. But I think people who fall for it are influenced by propaganda that agrees with what they already believed.

We are in the middle of social and economic change. I think that's the root of our division nowadays. Things aren't going to settle down until those changes have run their course. Also, a lot of old white people who cling to mid-1900's ideas need to move on.

Meanwhile, this election is a nexus. A lot is riding on what happens tomorrow and the next few weeks.
