Controlling stretch on a stretch

So with a 5 wk tangie
I filled scrogg by week 1
2nd scrogg installed and filled str8 away...

Net scrog over top
With 3 weeks left stretchin and ive seen her do it.

How can i controll stretch.
My plan i do the lollypop half plant a time 4days break so the stress and heal kicks in
There quite tolorent of stress.

But with 2ft left to grow in how would ya stop her hitting the coolshades?

Light cycle hrs myth? Any organic stim to surpress the gibberellic hornone? Drop the lights lower? There 30cm in dominator hoods and 23c

My final step is monstercropping stems but that can become problematic when so full too
After a good thinning out week 3 and defoilation

Keep temp low
1 lollypop over a week at 14days
2 defoil and thin out at 21days
3 supercrop at 28days
4 slowing down at 35days tie em up

I am in some Copper Orgi at the moment in a 6 ft tent. I was saved by the bell, stretch is over and my light can't go any higher. They are about 4 ft from ground to tops and then another 22 inches for the light and I'm done.

I think at that point though, it's hard to scrog it out if they are growing that much. Your only good option is to supercrop. (I ran two scrogs and a third net for stability) Maybe on your third net, try to supercrop all the tops that are much higher down on a horizontal plane with the net and tie them to the net.

Add a space heater on a timer keep the night temps as high or a few degrees higher than day temps.

Also depending on how full (picture would help) defoliating heavy all at once about day 21 or sometimes a little sooner can help slow the stretch down. But it's only beneficial in certain situations.

Sorry to Break into your Thread 2cent..
I need help on this matter as well...
1st indoor grow guys and I’m having to make hanging lines but to make them at 2-3 inches is hard...
so heavy defoliation should slow them down?
or do you think at Week 3 Flower they are almost done stretching for the Blue Gelato?
My tallest stems are 6” away

Look up negative temperature differential. Warmer night than day temps. Or at least don't make the temp difference extreme. Cold during dark cycle will increase the stretch.

increasing light intensity will obvously cause growth but it can limit stretchiung... id be carefull trying that

anywhere to the left side of the spectrum would help... blue.. shit id even hit em w some uv

I can’t remember where but I read somewhere that high levels of N during stretch actually increase the stretch. I’ve also noticed it with my plants. Now I’ve been giving bloom during stretch then reintroduce grow to balance the NPK levels to a 1-1-2ish level.

Perhaps it would be best to use bloom nutes if applicable.

Managed to get 19night 21day sofar. New light goes on dark tomoroe in vent. Hope for 22 dark 21 day.
Its cold and easyer to drop temps to 21 than raise to 25

Not enough light. I control height with adequate amount of light, pinching, twisting newly developed internodes and supercropping throughout veg.

Try not pushing high amount of phosphorus is also a thing to take into consideration.
Lowering P levels to optimal will also control stretch to some degree from my experience.

Kelp helps a lot to, foliar is good for building structure by creating auxillary dominance and as result grows more shoots and keeps height down.

Scrog netting is also a thing to consider. Cheers!

Yeah the asc nod kelp is the best. High cykotins stops stretch incresrs smaller internodes
